Pigtails!

I do play around with Nathan and baretts (sp). It is just too funny to him to play with hair stuff.

jcc64 replied: Ok guys I was just thinking about posting this question and then I saw this topic. How do you get your kids to sit still long enough to put stuff in their hair? I'm in the remedial hair styling club to begin with, having been a complete tomboy with 2 brothers growing up. Corey has enough hair to do pigtails, but I can't imagine coralling her long enough to get it done.

Jamison'smama replied: I can only do Jamison's hair while she is watching the Wiggles or if she is asleep in the car. I use the little tiny baby rubberbands and put a little bit of lotion on my hands to be able to grip those little strands.

She is learning how to pull them out now so we are doing them less often.

She has long hair on the sides & back but she is thinning on top like a little old man. She ripped the barette out within 2 seconds. I consider it a great day if she will let me take a wet brush to her head.

Ashley was amusing herself with wrapping paper from her Daddy's birthday present.... since that had her attention for a minute, I decided to do the pigtails. However, if you will look, they are not very even because she wasn't sitting completely still.

Zach got his hair trimmed last week (my attempt - he was NOT happywith me after that one...but it's SOOO much better now. His hair was long enough for me to have put pigtails in. I cut a good inch all over!! His hair is still a little long now...but at least he looks like a boy.

No more comments on *oh what pretty hair the little girl has...look...curly, just like her mommy!*

He had on a light blue shirt, jeans, running shoes. He was sleeping. He has a dark complexion...and just plain looks like a little boy. How can someone mistake him for a girl?!

kit_kats_mom replied: It looks like Kylie has "katherine hair" aka little old man hair. I pull the sides up into pigtails but the top is still way too short to do anything with...except for a combover. LOL
