He just got home....He says it went REALLY well, and the guy said he'll call before wednesday of next week with more information. I hate the suspense. DH said that this guy is super nice, and acted like he wanted to hire him right away if he didn't have to have the board of directors approve it. I'll keep you all posted. Wish us luck.

It's a privately funded sports complex, so there's a bunch of rich dudes that give their money to this place, and hiring and salaries and stuff need to be ok'd by them. It's kinda weird, but DH really likes this job and the guy that runs the place. And I really want him to just have a job.

Sounds like it's run a lot like an association. That's how things work here. We have an Executive Director (main boss) and then about 12 board members to answer to as well.

Yeah. Righ now there is only one guy that runs the whole complex (it's like the YMCA), and he's looking to hire others to run sports for him. He wants DH to be incharge of ALL sports and events, and then hire others managers of each individual sport. It's very ambitious of him, but right now I just want him to hire DH and pay him well. lol I do agree that it sucks that there's a director PLUS a board to answer too, but they all sound like really nice people.
