Fingers are crossed that the storm will not cause you to lose power, and that it may fizzle out before long. This may be one time I think no one will be mad if the weather people get the weather predictions wrong.

JP&KJMOM replied: Oh Abbie I hope all stays good there. Prayewrs for Bill and the others too. We are froze here this morning. The roads were icy but I made Jason come back and pick up me and the kids cause I did not want to drive on solid ice. He had it in 4WD all the way too. The sun is shining now though and starting to melt but it is still 21 degrees.

punkeemunkee'smom replied: Hey guys just a quick update-it can snow all it wants now because the owner of the packing plant that we haul for called for a shut down tomorrow and Wednesday so my DH is here safe at home and all the other trucks should make it in before the rain/sleet/ice starts up again tonight...Now if the power lines just stay up we will be good! Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts-I feel much better with him off the road!

Karen~How is it now with you? Our rain has stopped but they are calling for more moisture starting after sundown here...it looked bad on the weather map up around ya'll! We had 2 trucks in Emory and Fort Worth and they had to wait for the sun to come up this morning before they could head home Most of this whole state shuts down when we mix cold and wet!!! Bill is already telling Tay that they are gonna go 4-wheeling if it snows!

We did not have any moisture all day but we never got out of the low 20's. Most of the roads dried up but they are saying the moisture is coming again and we might get snow tonite and again tomorrow nite. They have not said yet but I bet JP at least does not go in until 10 if at all.
I hope yall stay warm and safe. I just went to one of the SA locals that I had in favorites and saw that the area we lived in is already bad and closing schools tomorrow and the radar is solid green and PINK! Be safe and if Bill and Tay get to go 4 wheeling I hope they have a blast.

Have you heard from Aimee? I know my uncle said it was slick where they are and it is not far from Aimee.

coasterqueen replied: GL. We got the ice the other day. It warmed up enough the next day to start melting it and it was gone in two days. It's the second ice storm we've gotten in two months. We had our generator just in case we lost power. They also called for an even bigger ice storm and snow storm but we didn't get near what they thought. Hopefully your forecasters are as wrong as ours was.

Technically we didn't get ice until last night, but it was threatening it so Scotty wouldn't let me leave. So, I'm going on day 3. Hopefully tomorrow will be better so I can get out of this house *crossing fingers* And I hope it steers clear of S. TX Glad Bill is home safe.
