C&K*s Mommie replied: Go to a walk in clinic, or if you can get an early appt go see a doc. If may be nothing that warrants any worry, but you never know. If you have the insurance use it, and go see someone who can take a look at it.

MamaJAM replied: That looks a lot like what I had on my arms a few months ago. I know that you were recently at the doc's office/hospital with your DS....you might be having a reaction to something you came in contact with (a cleaning solution or something).
In Jan when I was at the ped's office with DS#1 then the ER at the hospital with DH - all within a few days - I broke out in a rash just like yours. I took benedryl and rubbed coritzone (? sp) cream on the rash -- it took a few days, but it went away.

Hope it goes away soon.

jcc64 replied: Several years ago, I contracted a weird virus whose name now escapes me, but it was the adult version of fifths' disease- a very mild illness in kids but not so in adults. That rash was followed by arthritic symptoms that lasted a few months. I was tested for lupus, among other things, before a blood test revealed this virus (wish I could remember the name- oh wait, it just came to me- parvo virus). I got over it, but it took awhile, and the rash looked alot like yours'. Hope you get to the bottom of it.

Dogs can get Parvo virus right? I'm sure one of my friends told me her puppy died from that.

I was thinking it could be a staph infection too. I talked to my Mom about it today, and she said my sister had the same thing when she was little and it was Impetigo. I'm looking some information up online, and hoping to see what it could be. I know, I should go to the doctor. I'm stubborn, and I shouldn't be. I showed Justin and he freaked out! So did my co-workers. So I guess I'll be making an appt. first thing in the morning with my doctor.
It's hurting me, and my bone/shin hurts. It doesn't really itch, it's just really sensitive. I don't think it's a bug bite, or else I would have a huge bump the first day, and the bump just appeared today, while the rash was there 3-4 days ago...and it doesn't really itch like a bug bite. I guess the only way I'll know is going to my doctor.
But it appeared a few hours after I was shaving my legs. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Yes, my leg is sore. Like my joints hurt. I also noticed it gets worse when I'm in a hot shower, or by a heater. Something about the warm temperature makes it more red and painful.

I'm calling the doctor today. I'll let you guys know when I find out.
