Please tell me...

Danalana wrote: that a child's first birthday is the hardest, emotionally, that mamas go through sleep.gif
I've never cried so much about anything. I know hormones are partially to blame, but I never imagined it would be so hard. I was feeding him earlier, and I just burst into tears, looking at his sweet face. How does it pass so quickly?

Crystalina replied: Unfortunately it is only the first hardest birthday. The 5th is harder for me then the 1st. bawling.gif I'll have to deal with the 10th in 2 years! Already!!!!!!!!!!!! bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: I could tell you, but I'd be lying. sad.gif hug.gif hug.gif Brace yourself--motherhood is a long, emotional ride!!!

~Roo'sMama~ replied: Actually I'm more sad about Allie's second birthday (coming up next week already! sad.gif) than I was her first. I was a little sad then, but now she's gotten so big and really isn't a baby at all anymore. I don't really remember being sad about any of Andrew's birthdays, although I have gone through phases being sad that he was growing up, just not on the birthdays.

MommyToAshley replied: I think the first birthday was pretty emotional for me too. It ranks right up there with the first day of kindergarten... brace yourself for that one!

Wow... I can't believe he is going to be 1 already!!! Where did the time go?

moped replied: Nope, how about kindergarten....I know right now it is big, but I think after another child you realize it is a fact of life. I struggled with Jacks 4th birthday more I think, they just get so independant.

Sorry you are emotional about it - look at it as his exciting first birthday!!!!!!!

It does go by so quickly!

moped replied:
Amen sista!!!!!

Such a long fun, hard, rewarding, heartbreaking, emotional ride!

danahas4monkeys replied: I agree with Aimee, we could tell you it is but we'd be lying. For me its the turning 5 I mean it's a BIG deal lol I am constantly hearing right now " I am going to be a whole hand" of course when they hit double digits that hits hard too and then the teen years and all of a sudden your child is saying things like " We'll be registering for our freshmen classes in April" you just wanna bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif ! Enjoy each second it's a hard road but so worth the ride!

luvmykids replied: I cry every birthday bawling.gif And every first day of school bawling.gif And every teacher conference bawling.gif And every promotion Sunday bawling.gif And every new sport/activity/achievement bawling.gif

There, does that make you feel better? rolling_smile.gif

youngmomofone replied: I cried at her 5th birthday, her first day of pre-k, and her first day of K. She is my only baby for now, so I cry for everything laugh.gif

Calimama replied: No, but rather than focusing on how fast the year went by, I focused on all the great moments I had with her that year. wub.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: hug.gif

I wish I could say it is... but its not!

They grow so quickly. Just think of how amazing it has been watching him grow this year, rather than thinking that you can never get it back.

Enjoy his birthday!!

My3LilMonkeys replied: The 1st birthday has been the hardest birthday for me so far.

Not the hardest event though - I am already getting worked up about Brooke going to kindergarten and she doesn't start for 7 months! tongue.gif

DillsMommy replied:
don't forget the first hair cut bawling.gif and the first missing tooth bawling.gif learning to read bawling.gif and write. bawling.gif I could go on and on. They grow up too darn fast. period. And it's not fair.

This years parent teacher conference I cried and cried. Dylan's teacher must have thought I was completely loony. laugh.gif

MoonMama replied:
iagree.gif iagree.gif hug.gif hug.gif

luvmykids replied:
Oh, yeah, forgot all those tears bawling.gif laugh.gif

I cried just TOURING preschool for the twins....I had to leave the room to collect myself so I could even ask what time they started in the morning emlaugh.gif

AlexsPajamaMama replied: I think I will be more emotional when Logan turns one than I was with Alex...because he could be our last and I already have seen how fast time flies by and how quickly they grow up.
He's already a month old...and its already going by too fast for me.

grapfruit replied: Guys! I'm only 13 weeks pregnant and you're making me bawling.gif bawling.gif bawling.gif

Danalana replied: Casey, enjoy every second!!

A&A'smommy replied: I know the feeling.. its coming upon me also!!! love2.gif hug.gif hug.gif
