Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Mine is still up and we even still light it at night. emlaugh.gif Every night I plug it in I say to dh, " I really need to take this tree down.", and every day goes by with me thinking it can wait another day. rolling_smile.gif

I'm actually starting to think it won't look half bad to decorate it for Valentines day! biggrin.gif rolling_smile.gif

lovemy2 replied: Mine was gone the day after Christmas laugh.gif

grandma replied: Our tree is back in it's little box. However, the wreath is still displayed nicely above the fireplace and the decorations are still on the mantle.....
I'm thinking DH will take them down anyday. rolleyes.gif

Kaitlin'smom replied: blush.gif nope your not the only one. I am waiting on DH to get the boxes out of the attic. He hurt his neck on the 5th and has not been able to get them down for me. He is better now so I guess its time to hound him. I really want it put away

luvmykids replied: OMG, I am SO relieved that I'm not the only one blush.gif blush.gif blush.gif

I really, really want to take it down, but keep thinking I want to reorganize all my Christmas stuff...and that it will be a disaster of its own so I'm trying to get the house clean first....bottom line, yes it's still up. I'm really, really, really hoping to get to it this weekend blush.gif

I warned my new neighbor that my Christmas stuff is still out, she kind of laughed, but when her and the kids came over she looked shocked and said "Oh, you weren't joking" ohmy.gif laugh.gif

Crystalina replied:
rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif Oh I could just see that! See, I love not having neighbors for that exact reason. emlaugh.gif

I also have to reorganize. I lost alot of nice ornaments sometime between last Christmas and the one we just had. dry.gif The box fell over and apparently someone stepped all over them (EVAN!). I used to just wrap them individually in newspaper and put them in a cardboard box but I may get one of those plastic containers this year.

sparkys2boys replied: When I read the post I thought to myself your probaly not the only one.. but.. the only one who will admit it tongue.gif tongue.gif I WAS WRONG(first time for everything you know)!! We took our tree down on New Year's day. I'm thinking lil red hearts would look great on that tree Crystal!!

Calimama replied: LOL my neighbors still have their Christmas lights up too!

My2Beauties replied: We took ours down New Year's Day

grandma replied:
Hey, I just came up with a great idea. You could be like that couple on "Wife Swap"...they keep their Christmas tree up all year and put a presant under it everyday for their teenage pagent queen daughter...... rolling_smile.gif

Crystalina replied:
LOL not!

I may keep it up and just decorate for every single holiday! emlaugh.gif Then next year I'll be ahead of the game.

grandma replied:
Yeah, you could start a new trend!

momofone replied: You can put hearts on for V-Day and eggs on for Easter laugh.gif

MommyToAshley replied: Ours is down, but I JUST took it down this past weekend. blush.gif blush.gif So, if you had asked this a few days ago, I would have had to admit it too. laugh.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: Are you guys serious??? Still up? Can we say fire hazard, unless it's fake of course. Ours was down like a day or two after Xmas. I can't stand all the dry needles covering my floor. I'm already thinking about what to do for Valentine's Day!! Pack it up, will ya! wink.gif

BAC'sMom replied: I took ours down New Year's Day

luvmykids replied:
Yeah, it's fake wink.gif If it was a real one there is no way I'd turn the lights on at this point laugh.gif

A&A'smommy replied: emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif Mine is down I have kinda been nesting (yeah already RIGHT??) so everything is pretty clean anyway and I have been a painting freak blush.gif

3xsthefun replied: laugh.gif We took our tree down a few days after Christmas.

Brias3 replied: Nope, ours came down last weekend but I'm embarassed to say our lights outside are still up. DH just never got around to doing it last week before he and I left for FL. We are NOT lighting them anymore though laugh.gif

Cece00 replied: Well, my tree is up. It has no lights or ornaments, but its up rolling_smile.gif

The box it goes in is sort of broken & I need some ties to keep it closed...and I've just been too lazy to search for them...I did really well one day & took all the Christmas stuff down except for the tree....

gr33n3y3z replied: I say keep them up and start a new trend thumb.gif

luvmykids replied: Everyone who has taken theirs down made me feel bad laugh.gif so today I did get most of it packed up...I want to wash all the Christmas linens and get my tree skirt cleaned, and need a new box to put my parents fake tree in b/c DH left it outside and when the snow melted it ruined the box rolleyes.gif

Crystalina replied:
I'm with you!

Yes it's fake rolling_smile.gif and for what it's worth it's the only Christmas decoration still up. smile.gif Does that count for anything? emlaugh.gif

lovemy2 replied: My mother always told me you are supposed to keep "a little bit of Christmas" out all year - Christmas TREE is a little beyond "a little bit" though laugh.gif I use my Snowman sppon rest all year thumb.gif

HuskerMom replied: Ours came down the day after Christmas. I usually leave it up til new years but I wanted the space so it came down.
