We told my kids' adopted grandparents and his parents all at the same time via e-mail - lol - with a link to the baby's website - with the ultrasound and dr's note on it....

taf2911 replied: Hello! I'm a volunteer for a Crisis Pregnancy Center, so I called the director and had a pg test done there. This may sound odd, but the next person to find out was a lady who works with my dh. I had gone up to his office to show him the positive test from the CPC. We were standing outside talking when Nancy came out. She was ogling my little boy (20 months) and commented, "Are y'all gonna have any more kids?" My dh & I thought it was so ironic that we had to tell her. She cried!

This time, I've told my dad, my mom, a few of my aunts, some friends.... DH's brother and his wife...and DH still hasn't told his parents. lol!

Kaitlin'smom replied: we told his mom first, the step dad, then his grandparents, my sisters, my parents, then my boss, then mommytoashley & tlcdad (we J/k blamed them) all in 24 hours! most we wanted to tell in person thats why it took longer, we loved seeing the reactions!

msjennbug replied: I called my friend in CA BEFORE I told dh. He was out and I just felt compelled to pee on the stick. I didn't think I was really pregnant. When it came up positive I called her to convince *her* of how I could NOT be pg. LOL.

Told dh later that night when he got home.

ediep replied: I told my sis before dh. DH was away on a business trip and I couldn't get a hold of him. Actually, the only reason why I took the test was because I was sick with a sinus infection and when the doc asked me when my last period was I said 5 weeks. He said..Is that normal for you? I said not really, but I just went off BCP and I haven't had a normal cycle yet. He said ok, thats normal. When I went to the pharmacy to fill my prescription for antibiotics, I decided to buy a test just in case. Well, wouldn't ya know....it was positive. I just about freaked out!!! I tried to call DH 100 times, but no luck. SO, I called my sister and told he everything and asked her what to do??? DO I take the antibiotic? Do I go back to the doc? She said to call my ob/gyn and ask about the antibiotic. Good advice....

MomofTay&Sam replied: We told the inlaws and siblings next. I didnt tell my 10 year old until I was 6 months. He had waited forever for a brother and didnt want anything to go wrong after I told him. Actually I did it when we were at the grocery store. Do you want a brother? YES he said. Are you sure? YES he said. Than I told him, geez the questions about killed me!! LOL

mustangmomma1981 replied: I told my best friend right after my dh then my grandparents. The DH told his parents I told mine maybe a week or so later then his parents.
