Polly Pockets
coasterqueen wrote: Anyone's child into these? Kylie is all of a sudden into them and I went looking at them tonight for her birthday and I can't seem to figure out what the big deal is. Looks to me like a lot of little pieces that I'll be chasing Megan through the house saying "open you mouth Megan...open your mouth...spit it out....spit it out NOW!".
luvbug00 replied: LOL!!! Mya adores them and is thrilled to get them in a happymeal.
I do this but not with a cute kid..I'm chasing Leo instead.
moped replied: My neice loves them and has for years - she is 11 and still plays with them all the time...............
luvmykids replied: Both my girls love them (ages 2 and 4) and we have lost many a polly pocket shoe, those things are tiny! But they love them, have tons of them, and would happily accept more
coasterqueen replied: Well being that this is the only 'toy' she is going to get, the rest is clothes and arts/crafts stuff I guess I'll break down and get her them. I couldn't figure out which one to get tonight so when we go into town tomorrow I'll pick one.
moped replied: I am recalling some kit with a horse.......................
Jamison'smama replied: Jamison likes them also--they are definately a table toy. If Jama were to choose, it would be the Polly Pocket car.
mom21kid2dogs replied: O'd best buddy is into those big time. She just got the career set for her 1st day of 1st grade present. O liked the one she got from McDonald's but she's not a big doll kid.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: They are Maddie's favorite.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: Jade keeps eyeing these, but like you, all I see is tiny little parts that I will be pulling out of Jordan's mouth. It would be a table toy for us as well.
boyohboyohboy replied: I was just thinking that I saw these are now in the happy meals at mcdonalds.
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley will play with them for a few minutes, but like O, she's not into dolls.
coasterqueen replied: I just noticed that today when we were out.
coasterqueen replied: Yeah, Kylie isn't in to dolls AT ALL, but for some reason she wants them. Course it will probably be like with any other toy, played with for a week and then not at all. That's why she's getting arts&craft stuff. I'll get her a PP, but I won't spend much on it, that's for sure.
