Poor Claudia

He didn't prescribe antibiotics because she had the tubes put in and the ENT told us that the only reason she would need an antibiotic was if the tubes were plugged. Well Thursday at Daycare she spiked a fever of 101.5 and her ears started draining. This morning she spiked another fever so I called the ENT and his nurse was having him call in a prescription for her. I explained that the discharge was starting our green but turning kinda rust colour, his nurse told me that she has an infection. Well now her eye has this green discharge so I've been putting the anitbiotic drops in her eye again. My poor girl. She has to have ear drops twice a day, antibiotics 3 times a day and eye drops twice a day.

So, if the tubes aren't helping, is there anything else they can do?

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Thanks everyone! She seems to be feeling much better today. She is still coughing, but her ear isn't draining as much as it was and her eyes have cleared up as well!
