Prayers Needed for DH's Aunt - It's not Looking Very Good!

A few months ago she had finished a very lengthy round of Chemo at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. The doctors were hopeful, but the other illness she had (I can't remember what it is exactly) flarred up again and she became very sick. She was admitted to the hospital early February. My DH called her on Saturday and she told him that the cancer has come back and has spread throughout her whole body. It's only a matter of days really. I'm so sad, I won't get to see her ever again. She is such a wonderful, kind and caring person snd she is all alone. All of her family is here where we live. It's just so sad. She asked for all of the tubes and IV's to be removed, there is nothing more the doctors can do for her, but to keep her comfortable. DH said she sounds peaceful and has accepted this. My DH's parents have gone on a bus trip to California and won't be back for another 2 weeks. I don't know how we are going to break the news to them if his Aunt dies before they come home. I just hope that she doesn't have to suffer to much longer.

Its a hard thing to accept but the suffering is what hurts us the most.
