Prayers for Aimee please!!!!! - Maddie&EthansMom

Our Lil' Family wrote: Ok guys, one of our own needs our prayers BADLY! I believe most of you probably read the thread that Aimee posted a few weeks ago about her having stroke like symptoms related to migraines. (Read it here) Her neurologist friend had prescribed some anti-migraine medicine but she was having side effects and stopped taking the medicine. Over the past couple of weeks she has just not been herself and been very confused and out of it. She is in the hospital now, as of last night. I don't have many answers and don't know what tests they are running. I am waiting to hear from her friend that lives there. PLEASE PLEASE pray for Aimee and her family. She is a firm believer in the power of prayer and as you all know would pray for a stranger on the street if asked, so please pray for her during this time.

As I know more I'll update but I'm not sure when I'll know more.

Our Lil' Family replied: Just talked to her BF, she was having severe reactions to the medication that was prescribed. Unfortunately it takes 10-14 days for it to be completely out of your system, that's where she's at, letting it get out of her system. Then I guess they'll have to find something else to put her on. Just pray that the Dr's will choose the best Rx for her!

Our Lil' Family replied: Thank you everyone for all the thoughts and prayers. I know Aimee would be touched! I talked to Scotty yesterday, but I'm so ready to hear her voice!!!!!!!!! We're hopeful that this week everything will get straightened out. I know how Aimee feels about medications and how much she likes to be in control of her body so I can only imagine how hard this is for her, to feel so out of control because of a pill! When I know more I'll update! Thanks alot!

Nothing new today Jeanne. Right now it's just a "detox" phase, to get those meds out of her system. As soon as Scotty passes on any more info I'll be sure to update.

Our Lil' Family replied: She continues to get better, definitely showing progress but still not quite 100%. I just can't believe how badly this affected her.....just shows that medications while are soooooooooo helpful 99% of the time, can also do a number on your body and mind!

Thanks for the update Naomi. Is she still in the hospital or home now? That is so weird on the meds. I've heard of people having reactions, but nothing as serious as what this has been for her.
