Prayers for my friend - house fire

ions_momma wrote: I thought I would ask for you to pray for a friend of ours. Their house caught on fire yesterday afternoon. My friend, Kendra, and thier 3 kids were at home when it happened. The kids were all asleep and someone came up to thier door and rang the doorbell. When Kendra answered the door she saw smoke coming from the garage. They were able to get all three of the kids out of the house and called 911 before it spread through the whole house. The fire started in the attic but they arent sure of what caused it yet. They had to cut three holes in the ceiling to make sure that it wasnt spreading after they put it out. They just finished redoing thier house and adding on and two bedrroms and a family room. The estimated cost of the damage was $25,000 and $5000 worth of items inside. They could really use all the prayers they could get!

Being through a house fire myself I know how scary it can be. I'm glad that they are all ok!
