Pregnant on the Pill - Did you get pregnant while on bc

My2Beauties replied: Yep with both kids and my m/c...so I did 3 times. Must not have been that effective for me I have the IUD now. I don't think anything can get through this sucker!

Oh,and to answer the question,I haven't ever used the pill but I have known 2 people who were and got pregnant while taking it..

I had a progesterone problem with my last 2 kids and my OB said the birth control actually probably KEPT me pregnant with our last kiddos bc I had been on the placebo pills for a whole week and was spotting but never got a period...took a test so I could get the meds to start your period if it was negative, and NOPE, big positive.

My prog. was VERY LOW when I went in and the OB said if I hadnt been on bc I mightve lost the baby, the prog in the bc kept my levels high and the week with placebo pills led to my levels dropping severely.

my2monkeyboys replied: I have not (bc I don't take BC pills), but a close friend did 2x, my SIL did once, and my aunt did once.

Cherie replied: Nope not me... I was on the pill and then went off when starting to ttc.

I'm back on the pill now... and I want so badly for a 3rd... I keep praying that if it's God's will... I will get pregnant whether I'm on the pill or not... but so far no luck.

And that makes me wonder, those who did get pregnant, were you vigilant about taking the pill every day or were you somewhat lax?

I was on the pill for a very long time and never got pg.......now was I all that consistent either
