Project Runway...Daisy Style

kit_kats_mom wrote: For our Daisy meeting tonight, I thought up a fun thing for the girls to do that was holiday related.

I put them in to teams of two with a mom to help each team. I gave each team a roll of wrapping paper, a roll of tape, scissors, some stick on bows and some tinsel. They had 15 minutes to make a costume for each other (just the girls, not the moms LOL) and then they had a fashion show. They were FIERCE!!!! let me tell you. After I showed them how to work the runway, they were off! We had so much fun.

Here's a picture of Katherine in her finery. Hers was sort of a hula inspired concoction. Sorry it's blurry.

kit_kats_mom replied: Thanks guys. It really was fun. I reccomend it for any holiday gathering. Pretty inexpensive and a good use of 15 minutes. I'm guessing the adults could come up with something pretty great! Katherine wanted to wear hers to the store after the meeting.
