mummy2girls wrote: Ok i phoned the links nurse tonight and need some advice guys... I usually always get freaked with the links nurse because they sometimes say...bring them in to get checked, bring them inot the er, etc etc etc. But i just had to phone them because jenna stomach bug is really worrying me. Jenna pukes only at night and early in the am when she wakes up. and then all day she is fine. And she hasnt had a fever yet! And she had one nasty bout of the runs and thats it! Should i take her in tomorrow to the peds er after work? I want to wait tomorrow out and see how she is when my mom watches her. Then go from there....

Please send some stay well vibnes her way please! She hasnt puked yet tonight..and i hope i didnt just jinx myself.

maestra replied: Stay away puke vibes! wavey.gif wavey.gif wavey.gif

I hope she gets better! grouphug.gif

coasterqueen replied: I'm not really sure they could do anything as long as you are keeping her hydrated as much as possible.

Hope she gets feeling better soon. grouphug.gif

kimberley replied: poor baby! i hope she is better soon. did she make it through the night without being sick?

redchief replied: With vomiting dehydration is the biggest danger. As long as she's wetting frequently and the urine is normal (not deep yellow, brown or has a heavy odor), she's probably not (noted she's two, so if she's potty trained, you might want to check the her urine before flushing and note when she is going).

This type of vomiting almost sounds like it could be a developing food allergy or intolerance, especially if there seems to be no other reason for it. They can be dangerous if undiagnosed and diet not adjusted.

Other than that... if you're pretty sure she's got a stomach bug.... I send: NO PUKIES your way!!!

MomofJandB replied: My daughter went through a phase of throwing up for no reason, feeling bad for about an hour, then back to her normal self. She would only puke once a day, but complained of being nauseaus at other times. It was a roller coaster! This went on for about 5 days before I took her in. (she was seven at the time and I kept thinking she was getting better!) Anyway, to make a long story short, she had a urinary tract infection!!! She had none of your normal symptoms of a UTI, but luckily they thought of checking her urine! It was full of bacteria and took 2 doses of antibiotics and 2 weeks to clear up! Just something else to consider. I hope she feels better soon!

My2Beauties replied: Oh poor baby! No Puke Vibes coming your way! If she does throw up I would have her checked out, that is weird!

A&A'smommy replied: I hope she is better now!!!! Let us know how she is doing (((HUGS))) and some NO MORE PUKING Vibes for Jenna!

Kaitlin'smom replied: how did she do? I hoep she is okay and it was a bug that has left now

Alice replied: This has been going on for too many days. I say bring her in and let someone look at her. If it turns out to be just some bug, at least you'll sleep better.

mummy2girls replied: Thanks guys! She made it through the night just fine. and my mom said she slept off and on throughout the day. she didnt puke and she even took in some food. Then she started to have the explosive poops. So now im dealing with that now. The pukes hoepfully is gone for good. she ate half of a banana so hopefully that will help her poops slow down. I called aron because i told him he is too keep his cell phone on all day today and answer the phone no matter how early it is tomorrow. because if she keeps having the runs at daycare she will be sent home! And he agreed to take her. so hopefully he will keep to his promise!!!!!!!!!!

redchief replied: Nothing better than the "green apple splatters" to signal the end of a stomach bug! Hope she's feeling better tomorrow!

MommyToAshley replied: Glad to hear she is doing better. grouphug.gif
