Hillbilly Housewife replied: I love classical music...but DH is not crazy about it... so we listen to it at night for 15 minutes or so to relax... I really like Eminem's LYRICS (not necessarily him) because I think they are very realistic.

I like Celine Dion's voice!

supermom replied: My favorite kind of music is Classic Rock-N-Roll - I am almost old enough to be a "flower child" - grew up about 50 miles south of San Francisco. I like music like Eddie Money, Jefferson Airplane, Harry Chapin, Brian Adams, Rod Stewart, Tom Petty, and some of the harder stuff like Aerosmith, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin. I like a few of the newer groups like Savage Garden and Creed, but don't like rap or hiphop at all (my kids love it, of course!)

I really don't have an all time favorite singer or band, but if I had to pick one song, it would be "Ever Really Love A Woman" by Brian Adams.

TLCDad replied: My favorite music is the 80s, Oldies and Christain rock. But I like some of todays music. Although I was into it when I was a mid-teen I can not get into RAP anymore nor alot of today's hiphop.

No way Dee Dee 80's music rocks, definetly my favourite. However I like everything else also, from rap to classical and anything inbetween. The only thing I can't stand is super hard metal like Marilynn Manson.

Right now I'm into metal and bluegrass/country. Groups = metal - Iced Earth, Blind Guardian; bluegrass/country - Old Crow Medicine Show, Dave Gleason, Avett brothers, The Drams, Hank III.

I love everything from barefoot/backwoods folk to Duran Duran to The Beatles, Elvis, The Monkeys, John LENNON!!!!, Bary Manilow to Parry Como, DEAN MARTIN!!!, to Ozzy, Guns-N-Roses, Foo Fighters, AREOSMITH!!, Dresdan Dolls, Fergie....the list just goes on. It all depends on my mood.

Well that happens...I really didn't care for Metallicas St Anger much.

I really didn't care for St. Anger either when it first came out but it slowly grew on me.

Ride the Lightning is one of my favorites too. Master of Puppets is another of my favorites. Their latest cd is growing on me pretty quick.

jcc64 replied: I'm kind of all over the place. I will surely be showing my age when I admit that I used to follow the Grateful Dead around when I was in high school/college. I LOVE Bob Dylan- not so much for his singing or performing but no one is a better songwriter, imo. I like Reggae--Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff; when I was in high school I was a die-hard Led Zeppelin fan and I always will be.
Even the newer stuff I like isn't so new- Tupac Shakur, who I think is amazing, has been dead for over 10 years already. Wah--I'm OLD!
