Question

Danalana wrote: Okay, I'm not fond of talking about body parts, but I need to ask something. My boobs (nipples, actually) have been really sore the last few days...and they're itching. Mine never do this. Sometimes, they are a little sore before my period, but this is completely out of the ordinary for me. We haven't changed clothes detergent or anything, and I haven't been wearing a new bra. Anybody else had this happen?

Danalana replied: I'm starting to think that I got pregnant right after my miscarriage. i did have what i thought was a period after that, but i still think i did. My breasts have been tingling and are very sore. i think it would be too soon for that to happen if i got pregnant this last time. I really think i'm pregnant--i never feel this way smile.gif

PrairieMom replied: I was going to say before that my nipples got that way when I was PG, but I didn't want to get your hopes up. tongue.gif SO, If your thinking it, then I will go ahead and tell you that it was one of MY symptoms. laugh.gif Where are you in your cycle? Are you late yet?

Danalana replied: I'm not late yet...i just don't know if i might have gotten pregnant LAST cycle. anyway, i could probably test in about a week. Honestly, i have never felt sore like this and felt tingling...i just feel pregnant.

Danalana replied: well, the symptoms continue...my girls are still extremely sore and painful, i'm having these twinges in my lower abdomen, and i am very moody. I will test in 3 days! also, my temps have remained elevated for 14dpo now. I'm praying it's good news.

Calimama replied:
I hope this is your month! Tell us after you test!! hug.gif hug.gif

Danalana replied: I'll do that.

Nina J replied: Good luck. thumb.gif hug.gif hug.gif

Jackie012007 replied: that was a symptom with me too - I didn't realize I was pregnant because we were trying NOT to get pregnant, and after I was told, I realized how uncomfortable my boobs had been. That NEVER happens when I get my period, but I remember they were so sore and itchy like you described - I really hope this is it for you!! biggrin.gif

MyBabeMaddie replied: Baby vibes!!!!!! Good luck! KUP

Danalana replied: i took an EPT test today. I saw a faint line...somehow, after my miscarriage last time, i just don't feel good about it. I'm 15dpo, but i ovulated kinda early--like, 9 days. My period after the miscarriage was 5 days early, so my cycle is a little off. i just know i'm pregnant. I'm having all kinds of signs. I'm not due to start until wednesday or thursday, and i didn't use first morning's urine. i bought a package of 3 tests, so i might take one in the morning.
I called my doctor's office and spoke to my nurse. She said if i turn out positive, i need to come in on March 9th...i would be 6 months along and we would be able to see it clearly on an ultrasound. gah, I just wanna cry.

hopefulmomtobe replied: 6 weeks?

Danalana replied: Yeah, i guess because of the chemical pregnancy last time...i don't know *shrug*

Danalana replied: Actually, i just realized march 9th would be 7 weeks blink.gif

hopefulmomtobe replied: I would suggest waiting until the day you are suppose to start your period to do the next test, do it with the first morning urine as well. Doing it the very next day your counts wouldn't go up that much, but waiting a couple of days they will. Once you get a positive again, go into your OBGYN's and have them do the test to confirm it by blood work. You are at a higher risk after having a miscarriage so they should want to know right when you have a positive pregnancy and not make you wait to have it confirmed. Waiting until you are 6-7 weeks is fine for the first appointment, but just have it confirmed by the doctor first.

I went through the same thing you are, had a chemical pregnancy then 2 months later had a positive test, they made me come in and get blood work to confirm it just to be on the safe side. smile.gif Best of luck!!!

boyohboyohboy replied: if you took an ept and saw a faint line, doesnt that mean you are preg! I took my ept 5 days before i was due and it showed up with a faint line, and I was preg.

I think due to your situation I would go in and get the blood test from the dr...your counts actually do go up very fast day to day.....
why not ask the dr to be sure whats the best thing to do..

Danalana replied: Gosh, i'm not due o start for 2 or 3 days...i don't know how i can wait that long. I'm going out of my flippin' mind!

boyohboyohboy replied: I am like you, impatient. My Dh used to joke that I would start taking tests right after we finished the deed....smile.gif

Danalana replied: laugh.gif It's so hard! i would bet big money that I'm pregnant. There's just something about getting it confirmed...
Did any of yall get weird, pulling cramps on your sides? Sort of pulling to the back? This is so weird. And i am soooo hungry lately. I mean, I eat all the time anyway, cause I love food. But I'm talking about real, actual hunger.

Danalana replied: Oh, I didn't mean your actual side...I meant the sides of your lower abdomen.

DillsMommy replied: I got cramps, thats how I just "knew". More so with Dylan in the beginning, than with this one though. Good luck!! KUP. ~~baby vibes~~ for you. hug.gif

Danalana replied: I took a test...POSITIVE!!!!!!
I made an appointment with my ob/gyn for March 2nd biggrin.gif

Bamamom replied: Congrats!!! KUP and we'll be praying!

hopefulmomtobe replied: SWEEEETTT!!! CONGRATS GIRL!!!! smile.gif

Danalana replied: Thank you!!

DillsMommy replied: Congrats!! I'm so excited for you! I just knew it would happen. wink.gif

Danalana replied: biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

donna2006 replied: Congratulations
Lots of love

Danalana replied: I was definitely wrong.

hopefulmomtobe replied: Did I miss something? Did you take down your ticker? Everything ok??
