Question for bf moms - who are also pg
paradisemommy wrote: in the early part of your pg were your breasts REALLY sore? i remember them being sore when i was pg with taven and was wondering if they become sore again and if they are more sensitive since you are still bf? tia..
MommyToAshley replied: Does this mean you might be PG? Do tell!
MomToMany replied: I was a little sore at the beginning; more like sharp stings or shooting pains throughout my breasts. I never got sore nipples, though. My size has increased. But it could be different for everybody. My nipples are a LITTLE more sensitive, but they don't hurt. Sometimes I wince when Hannah latches on, but it's more out of surprise than pain. She'll do it before I'm situated and comfortable. I'm fuller now that I have colostrum in them, which Hannah loves! I can hand-express some now; I couldn't before.
Sorry if TMI!
kimberley replied: i didn't know i was pg until 12+ wks with james but the first couple of months i did notice tenderness but figured AF might be returning or maybe it was just b/c jacob suckled all the time. no milk just nibbling
Is there something you have to tell us?!?!?! Don't leave us hanging, you know how nosy we are!
paradisemommy replied: lol..you guys are all soooo funny! to tell you the truth, i'm really not sure...i'm really paranoid because ever since my 6 wk post partum appt. i went on the pill but it's made me so totally irregular and i tried playing with my pills to get me back on schedule (to match with my af) but that never seemed to work either. i've been feeling really *off* lately...and been unusually sicker than normal and it just makes me think that maybe my immune system is down b/c i got a lot of little colds when i was pg with taven too. plus a bunch of other little things...i've been having the most unusual dreams with people in my past...pretty bizarre. i have a bunch of pg tests on order that i got from another post that someone else posted they bought from there..they were so cheap vs. buying them in the store so i've been trying to wait for them to get here.
and my post...my breasts have been rather sensitive but not sure if it's just because taven likes to do aerobics while he is nursing...
i'm super paranoid so it's probably nothing but i'll let you all know!!
CantWait replied: Would this be a good thing????????
Can't Wait to hear the news
paradisemommy replied: in my eyes...it's always a good thing!! we were hoping to spread them out 3 years but i also know that God has his own plan so 2 years is good too!
A&A'smommy replied: uh oh thats so exciting!!!!
jen replied: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH how exciting!!! Can't wait to find out!!!
amynicole21 replied: So WHEN does this shipment of tests come in??!!? I hope very soon!! That would be so great!!
paradisemommy replied: i'm still trying to figure that one out..according to the tracking #, they should have gotten here on the 14th but not sure if it has to go through some special inspection since it came from Canada...don't know..that's kinda a long time ago..
jem0622 replied: When I was pregnant with our now angel baby I did not have any tenderness or soreness while nursing Gabe.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Well, I am not nursing with this pg, but I know my breasts are very sore this time. I didn't have any soreness when I was pg with Maddie. My breasts are also very full and it almost feels like a let down at times. I leak colostrum out of one side only on ocassion. I'm wondering if they are doing this/feeling this way since I BF Maddie b/c I didn't have any of this with her. Hopefully it means I will have an adequate milk supply!
Let us know when the tests come in! I can't wait to hear whether or not a new baby is on the way.
Raindr0p2433 replied: I'm not preg now, but I was recently....the second time around my breast weren't nearly as sore as they were during my first pregnany....they did get a little sore, but nothing that was extremely uncomfortable....they were sore like if you are about to get your period....
coasterqueen replied: Any news yet? I hear that some women speak of discomfort while BF and pg, but lanolin can help ease that pain.
paradisemommy replied: mine was a false alarm..i learned that when i ovulate, my breasts get SUPER SUPER sore because *normally*..i'm fine even though i go through some serious abuse with this little active boy!!
kimberley replied: awwww that`s too bad. do you think this will inspire you to TTC?
zonapellucida replied: I got pg while BF but lost the baby in January. The oill can also make your breasts sore. I did not notice any difference in my breasts while both bf andpg
