Question from my 6 year old..... - I LOVE this kid!

Tay: Mom, I was wondering. Why do they still call it a piggy bank when it is not a piggy?

Me: I am not sure honey. That is a good question.

Tay: We have one bank that is a pig and one that is a cow and now this one and we still always just say piggy bank money. Do they call it a piggy bank in the first place because it gets fat with money like a pig does on food?

Me: I don't know about that one either but I think they used to be in the shape of a pig.

Tay:Always a pig? Why did they pick a pig then....I think it must be because they thought pigs get fat and people would want to make their pigs fat so they would save more money that way. Anyway I am glad they make different ones besides just pigs now...I like the different designs.

Thank you for asking! We have been crazy busy! It is cookie time in Brownies and tons of stuff going on in dance and at school...I have been on alot more the past couple of days because I am supposed to be organizing the office and this dang computer is just sitting here looking so lonely!
