As you might expect, your baby is the kind of baby every first-time pregnant woman imagines herself to have: good as gold. Your baby is mellow, eternally smiling and consistently undemanding. Her cues are easy to read. She's not bothered by new surroundings, and she is extremely portable. She feeds, plays and sleeps easily and usually doesn't cry when she wakes up. An angel baby can often calm herself down, but if she gets a little overtired, perhaps because her cues were misread, all you have to do is snuggle her and tell her, "I can see that you're overtired." Then turn on a lullaby, make the room nice and dim and quiet, and she will put herself to sleep.

LOL except she is a HE and he is a second baby, everything else is right on! smile.gif Great quiz!

Your baby is predictable and thus fairly easy to handle. She does everything on cue, so there are few surprises with her. She reaches all the milestones right on schedule -- sleeps through the night by three months, rolls over by five and sits up by six. She'll have growth spurts like clockwork -- periods during which her appetite will suddenly increase because she's putting on extra body weight or making a developmental leap. Even as young as a week, she can play on her own for short periods -- 15 minutes or so -- and she'll coo a lot and look around. She smiles when someone smiles at her. Though your baby has normal cranky periods, just as the books describe, she is easy to calm. It's not hard to get her to sleep, either.

Well, not exactly.... I have read her books and I see Jason more as a touchy-spirited baby.

ps-The Baby Whisperer is AWESOME!!!!!

The book is awesome!!! I would reccommend it to any new mom!! Tracy Hogg has some great thoughts on feeding and sleeping, we use a lot of her ideas.

kit_kats_mom replied: I obviously did something wrong! It said she is a Textbook baby...whatever. I would have to go with spirited rolleyes.gif

Schnoogly replied: I had a hard time deciding on some of the questions.

And I have read the book too, but I wouldn't recommend it for BF moms because she really wants to put your baby on a schedule and this doesn't work with breastfeeding (can affect baby's growth and milk supply). But some of the ideas do work, esp. about not overstimulating touchy babies. Iain has lots of touchy qualities--when DH took the quiz it said Iain was touchy.
