Oh boy.... I have a pile of papers that I don't need anymore but I let Ashley play with when she comes into the office with me. I have my to-do list which seems to be getting longer instead of shorter, a calendar, the phone, a McD's cup full of root beer, a reference book for Photoshop, keyboard, monitor, mouse, and C&C Generals expansion pack CD. A picture of Ashley.
That's just what is in front of me... I have a hutch and another side of the corner desk...LOL
Jamison'smama replied: on my desk--here is the list--2 pencil holders, the telephone, a deck of cards, a camera bag, a rubber ducky book, 2 camera's a bottle of water, a few sheets of paper and some cheese crackers, the monitor and mouse, a stapler some tape, speakers, a hutch to hold CDs, sunglasses, scissors some baggie full of hooks that DH and I have no idea what they go to, earrings I got my mom for Christmas but haven't put away, and a few stray pens--wow, I need to clean off my desk!!
A&A'smommy replied: lol i have pg books, crayons, markers, tums, a phone charger, a fudpuckers cup with koolaid in it, thank you notes from my wedding  , and ton of papers, letters from a penpal i have, phonebooks, a tiara from my wedding, cork life for my burkenstocks, chargers for who knows what a floppy disk that has stuff on it that needs to be put on a cd, pens, stamps a calendar a rose from my boquet, a app. thingy for my next doc visit, a flat screen monitor, speakers, a wireless mouse and mouse pad and a keyboard...
CantWait replied: besides all the computer equiptment......a baby moniter, a couple dirty dishes, candy wrappers, a role of toilet paper ( I have a call), paper, tape, soap (don't ask) and a phone.
chloe&tysmommy replied: a cup of tea, cds, matches, radio, basket full of pens/paper and odds&ends, books, empty VirusScan box, and besides all the computer stuff thats about it!!!
5littleladies replied: Wow-I'm not even gonna go there! This is DH's desk and he is not the tidiest guy in the world. I can count 4 empty soda cans, a wholy bunch of loose paper, cups, toys-you name it, it's probably on this desk.

I have my computer, printer, speakers (things that should be there) I have a jar of candy and a movie jacket that Maddie brought to me earlier, a calendar, papers, file folders, pictures, tape, scrapbooking stuff, my watch, pens, checkbook and I won't mention what is in the office floor! LOL!
paradisemommy replied: lol..too much to list..and it doesn't matter how clean i can make it, within about 24 hours, it is piled right back up with things...i think there is some sort of magnet on the bottom that pulls everything toward it.

juliajaj replied: M2A, how did you know I needed to clean off my desk. Since I work from home the majority of the time (I'm a documentation writer -- meaning that I develop online help for computer systems & I maintain a portion of a web site), my desk has work-related & personal business on it.

I'm on a new organization kick where instead of try to do everything all at once, I'm breaking everything down into small tasks. For example, Sunday I cleaned out the coat closet, yesterday I cleaned out the bottom drawer of my nightstand. Today I'm cleaning out the top drawer of the night stand. It's going to take me a month or longer to go thru the entire house using this system, but it's nice to do just 1 thing per day. Even though I'd love to tackle cleaning off my desk now, I'll probably hold off until Friday.

computer equipment, fax, printer, basket full of receipts & envelopes & checkbook, stapler, 3 things of post its, mouse & black mouse pad, pen holder with scissors and ruler, signature stamp, tape, speakers, wireless router, desktop sync cradle for my handheld pc, crest whitestrips, 3 loose pens, spiral notebook, diaper bag, 3 packs of nicotine gum (for when I'm really stressed out by work) a rock with japanese writing onit, a lamp, cordless phone and charger, cell phone charger, coaster, baby monitor & charger, letterhead & envelopes for work, 3 magazines I've not had the chance to read yet, a piece of paper with my measurements over thelast year, a sewing machine for haloween costumes, my meal plan for next week, a stack of "important to do" work stuff and my glasses.

There's an unplugged phone,watch, baby monitor, Longaburger basket full of baby stuff, Picture of Jade, dvd remote, picture of DH and I after our wedding, candles, mug full of money, flashlight, DH's wallet, checkbook, amd much much more.....
