Abigail is 14 months old, and nursing about 6-8 times a day still, and she nurses to sleep as well. I have no intentions of weaning her; I practice child-led weaning; meaning the child nurses as long as she wants. My DD#1 nursed until she was over 4 years old.
We'll see how long Abby nurses LOL.
wcs40110 replied: Not too many replys here! I nursed Dakota until she was about 14 months or so and pretty much let het decide when she was done. I told people it was something between me and my baby and they could butt out!  Your awesome for sticking with it.

i nursed jake until he was 13 months..wish we could have cont. as well as the with the last little one..we only made it 6 weeks due to the dr's..and my ignorance in the whole thing, but we did our best.

Because of being a working mama, i can nurse him 3-4 times a day...
i plan to wean by 2yrs because i want to have another baby

That's awesome! I want another baby too. I'm still waiting for my cycles to return & Abby is just about 15 months old.
It's OK to nurse while pregnant, if you didn't know that .

No time limit at all, you can nurse your child as long as you want to! I've nursed a toddler through a pregnancy, then nursed to at the same time (tandem nursing). I did that for over 2 years, and then I got pregnant with #6, and they both weaned by the time I was around 15-16 weeks. My older daughter was over 4 years old then, and the other was over 2 years old.
