I was in tears when she showed me this award! With this award she recieved a $10.00 gift certificate to East Side Marios (her favourate resturant) and tickets to see a local minor Hockey team play. You should have seen her face, beaming from ear to ear! I'm going to buy a frame tonight and hang it on her wall above her desk! I'm so proud!

Kirstenmumof3 replied: Thanks everyone! I forgot to mention that the pennies we had been saving for about 3 years for the Pennies from Heaven campaign in Thunder Bay. All together we had 5 500ml milk carton containers full of pennies. We kept forgetting to drop them off at the bank every year and they just kept accumulating. When Emily heard that the school was collecting pennies she carried these milk containers in her back pack and brought them to school. It took her 3 days to bring them all to school! They were pretty heavy! What a sweet little girl I have!
