yes, he is trans gender, and was born a woman, but was in the process of becoming a man. He has been surgically altered, but not the reproductive organs. He lives full time as a man, and has a wife.

jcc64 replied: You all know I am as liberal as the day is long, but that whole situation really leaves me baffled. If he wants to be a man, I respect that, but men don't bear babies. I'm kind of surprised that he'd want to adopt the role of a female, when he's done so much to deny his biological gender. Why doesn't the wife have the kids?

My3LilMonkeys replied: Forgive my ignorance on how this whole transgender thing works, but if "he" is technically still a woman - how was he able to get married in the first place? Wouldn't that be 2 women marrying and therefore illegal?

He is legally a man. It was changed on everything official, drivers license, social security and all that. So since he is Legally a man, his marriage is valid. ( they talked about it on the view 2 days in a row last week. )

Yeah, I think the whole situation is kind of dumb, because this person may identify as male (although I have a hard time understanding how, since EVERY other man on the planet doesnt think "one day I can grow up and birth babies!"- obviously very un-manlike) but is technically female and isnt doing anything special.

The best part? This is not the first "male" to give birth, someone did it years ago (same situation). Apparently that "guy" just wasnt an attention freak like this "dude" because he wasnt all over the news for doing something that isnt really special @ all. This guy will probably keep popping out a kid every year just to get some attention every now and again.
