Sad Day for us. - sorry so long

The man she got married too was my husbands best friend. They had grown up together. So the 4 of us were inseperable. She was my maid of honor I was hers. She has 2 kids a 3 year old now and a 1 year old-I was there when both of her kids were born and she was there when Jacob was born. She is younger than me and has 2 kids only 22. Well sadly enough January 19th of this year her husband passed away. He fell on a construction site where he worked and died instantly. It has been a long hard rode she was 21 with a 9 month old and almost 3 year old at the time. She never worked a day in her life and now was left to do it all. She was devastated as anyone would be. And my husband lost his best friend of a lifetime. So it is now 6 months since he has been gone and life is going on but it is all very hard. We are way to young to have to be dealing with this. ANyhow sorry to go on and on but Today would have been there 2 year anniversary. She called me this morning crying and I was also crying I mean I can't imagine someone telling me that I can no longer kiss, hug, touch or fight with my DH anymore. And everyday having to deal with al lthe questions from her 3 year old about his daddy coming home. It is a sad day for us. So here is to remembering Todd who would want us to be happy on his anniversary!!! Thanks for listening!!

jacobsmama replied: You had a great Idea. I called her and we are going to go out to dinner at a great mexican restraunt here it was her husbands favorite! Thanks for all the support. OH BTW I wanted you guys to know that she has got great support from our community. Where he fell was a new movie theater and for grand opening all proceeds went to the family and it was huge. 20 theaters we took all our kids to see willy wonka it was a great time being there and knowing how hard their dad had worked on this huge building. But also bitter sweet knowing he died there. T Thanks again for all the support.
