Schnoogly replied: WooHoo! He's doing great!! His PC is so pleased. His VSD (hole in heart that was patched) has no leakage, his liver is not enlarged, and his pulmonary valve is doing fine. The PC said it was good that the surgeon was able to preserve most of it--this makes it more likely he'll never need another surgery. The surgeon told us that about 1 in 5 kids will need valve replacement so the odds are in our favor. The PC said we're past the danger zone and he doesn't want to see him for 3 months!

He weighed 14 lbs 13 oz and was 24.5 inches long, which means he has grown 2.5 inches in 7 weeks!

He says yeeaaawaaaaa!!

PS. He was also very well behaved for the techs who did EKG & Echos. Very little screaming!
