She did it again!!!!!! - AHHHH!!!!!!

We were over at a friends house and Meg decided she wanted her hair to be as short as her friend Tessa's so they went and got the scissors and snip, snip-off it went. Maddie came running out and said told us to come see what Meg did so my brother ran out and came back with Meg and told us she cut her hair. From the side I could see it was still long and I said "well that isn't so bad". Then she turned her head. She cut it up to her ears!!!! How can I keep this child away from the scissors?? This is her 4th time cutting it!!!

Messing it up really badly once, and having to go out of the house that way should teach her a lesson. Though, probably not since she obviously has some skills Sorry!

Meg actually cried when she first saw it. Poor thing, although it serves her right.

It did turn out really cute though. She's a pretty girl, she would look good no matter how her hair was cut.

kit_kats_mom replied: Poor mommy! She does look really cute though and it will be easier to comb out any tangles she may get right? Besides, it could have been worse....at least she didn't cut off all of her eyelashes like I did when I was little. Talk about funny looking! DOH!

jen replied: HAAAAAAAA! She did a great job! That has to be frustrating! ha ha! But she did a good job! When I was little I cut off one of my ponytails then afraid I was going to get busted cut off my sisters so we would still look alike! ha ha! My mom saw us and shut herself in her bedroom to have a good cry and my dad had to come home from work and take us to the beauty shop to get our hair evened out! WE both ended up with lop sided bobs!

kimberley replied: yikes! gonna have to start hiding the scissors on top of the fridge or something. the boys cut each others hair a few times but nothing noticable. her new do is cute though.

BUT...she does look so cute with the new 'do. BTW, Dorothy Hamil (sp) was huge when I was young and me and my sis went and got it done. I know my mother was having an absolute cow afterwards but I give her kudos for doing it. After that our hair grew to our butts!

A&A'smommy replied: lol its looks good!! Im sorry she cut her beautiful hair when i was 12 or so i had my hair cut really short after it had been long for a long time my mother CRIED!! (((HUGS)) but at least it looks good!! You have some very beautiful girls!!!

Jamison'smama replied: Awwe, what a little beauty! Good thing she didn't decide that she wanted to cut off her bangs--that would have been a little harder to fix. She looks beautiful both ways. Another thing to write in her scrapbook and when she posts to a parenting board many years from now she can tell everyone what she did when she was little Hugs!!
