Shower time!

Calimama replied: Awesome, I hope you have a great shower. I suggest a swing if you don't have one or one of those new tubs with the little shower spout for easier rinsing.. it was a life saver with Bella. Here's an example. We got ours at Babies R Us.

Mommy2BAK replied: oh cool thanks! I actually already registered for a baby bath but I didn't get one with the shower thing b/c our shower has one of those nozzles that come down to the bath level, and if I give him a bath by the kitchen sink then I can use that nozzle.

And, someone already bought the bath off my registry.... does/did anyone else constantly check theirs online to see what had been purchased off it yet? lol I'm bad I know!

Danalana replied: Well, I obviously don't have much advice about registering, BUT I do think it's awesome that your parents are coming together. You aren't a brat for wanting them together, silly! I hope the shower is wonderful.

luvbug00 replied: TBH i could have done without all the bells and wistles, I wanted dipers,whipes, cloth dipers ( as spit cloths) , any essential because although i loved the baby bouncer i really appricated the essentials i was given.

And my how baby things changed in the 5 years since I had Olivia - I thought I had top of the line stuff and then when I went back into Babies R Us - my stuff seemed like it came from my mom's era

Twelve Volt Man replied: I'll weigh in on this, so as to ease your husband's mind. I reluctantly went to a shower with my wife. It turned out to be a lot of fun (there were other guys there), and I had a blast looking at all the stuff we got. If he's really reluctant, I'd suggest making him a "deal" if he attends.

luvmykids replied: Well I'm probably too late to help but ITA on the Aquarium swing! Never used my diaper genie either, and LOVED my Boppy pillow (especially for BF if you're planning on it )....I used mine in SO many ways that I give them to moms who aren't going to bf.
