Silly Girl!!
MommyToAshley wrote: Ashley woke up around midnight last night with a stuffy nose. She was really congested so it wasn't like she could blow her nose herself, so I had to use the bulb syringe on her. (I think it is from teething, I hope she isn't getting a cold). I put her up on the changing table and suctioned out her nose, then she rolled over and went back to sleep on the changing table. LOL Silly Girl!
ediep replied: she was thinking....AAAAHHHHH, much better, I can breathe now! very cute
My2Carebears replied: awww thats soo cute!! Angel has been stuffy too! So I have been using the bulb, she use to hate it, now she thinks its funny!
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley used to hate it too, but doesn't mind it now. She will wrinkle up her nose and make a sniffing noise when she sees it or if she sees the saline drops. LOL
momma2jenna replied: how cute! Sounds like you fixed her up QUICK! I had to use the bulb on Jenna a couple of times, it makes her cry so hard, it stuffs her nose back up!
My2Carebears replied: LoL Angel Does the same thing!!
MomofTay&Sam replied: DeeDee I swear you read my mind! I was going to ask who still uses those bad bad burger suckers. LOL Sammy goes ape crazy if he see's it coming. I can hear it all in there but noway is he letting me at it!
mummy2girls replied: have you tried cool mist humidifier? Works wonders for jenna when she is congested which seems to be always
MomToMany replied: LOL, that's cute! I suppose she was comfy again! Were you able to move her without her waking up again?
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Ha! I still use that with Zach too!!! He doesn't mind it.... he kinda pushes his face forard and opens his mouth (reminds me of a woman putting on mascara... lol) to make it easier! And then when it sucksm, he giggles.... lol
Kaitlin'smom replied: silly Ashley. Gues thats just the relief she need.
Kaitlin hates that bulb she will scream bloody murder! Hope she gets past that, or that I wont have to use it agian on her....
thanks for the giggles Ashley!
Kirstenmumof3 replied: OMG that is just too funny! But at least she went back to sleep!
Maya's Mama replied: That is soooo cute! What a sweetheart!
A&A'smommy replied: awwww how sweet!!!!!
MommyToAshley replied: She had rolled onto her belly so I woke her up picking her back up. But she was out as soon as I put her in her bed.
DansMom replied: That is so cute! I would have been laughing my head off (quietly of course).
I'm jealous of those who have no problem with the bulb. I actually have had to pin Daniel down to use the bulb, so I only use it when he has severe congestion. I don't like restraining him to that extent, fearing it will cause him psychological problems. I used to have to pill a rather large and ornery cat, and I got to be really good at it, but when it's my little baby and he's screaming bloody murder all the fight goes out of me and I turn to mush. His attitude toward the bulb is interesting though. If I hand it to him after using it, he'll put it up his own nose. But if I do it, he acts like I'm trying to kill him. Hmmm....
MomToJade&Jordan replied: That's so cute. Jade would have pitched a nice fit and then been up if I had tried to sunction out her nose. She hates that thing with a passion.
paradisemommy replied: he'll sit still ocassionally to let me suck stuff out but for the most part taven doesn't like it either..screams like i'm killing him and he moves his head back and forth so i can't get it in his nose..i am totally envious of Zach's mom...
Hillbilly Housewife replied: I used to have to restrain him too.
Eventually I just made a game out of it..... when I'd use it (stuffy nose), I'd bring it up close, then take it away real fast and laugh. He'd laugh too...then I'd get it closer and closer.... taking it away fast everytime...then I'd get up to his nose...and make as if it was the funniest thing in the world.... then I'd suck up really quickly and take it away really fast....really quick....
After a couple tiems of this.... his cold would leave...but I'd stil paly the game....I woulond't suck anything out though, since there was no snot or anything...but now, I still do it the same way...one I suck, I take it away really fast, and Zach giggles....
I made it fun to use instead of scary. Maybe you should try that!
