Snow...
MyBrownEyedBoy wrote: Anyone seen any? The mountains that surround our town have new snow at the tops, but we haven't gotten any down in the valley.
mom2my2cuties replied: I haven't seen any here - but my son says it has started in the moutains around where he lives. They usually get thier first snow at his house around Halloween. But I know he said they have already had thier freezes. I can't wait to go up there again - its a beautiful area - but that city drives me insane :-)
TheOaf66 replied: nope not yet, probably a month away yet I hope
Boo&BugsMom replied: Too early here for snow still. Probably by Thanksgiving next month. Who knows here in WI. Crazy unpredictable weather it is.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: We usually get a good storm right around Halloween.
And Aimee, I saw you, I KNOW you haven't seen any. LOL
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Snow??? What's that??
Okay, ask me in February and by then I may have seen a glimpse of the white stuff or just one single snowflake. But just a glimpse...it normally melts before it hits the ground.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Wait!! I did see some..it was on a Christmas decoration. Oh you meant the real stuff???
mom2my2cuties replied: Aimee - it did snow in Dallas one September like 25 years ago
I think Feb is when Texas actually gets cold weather - that is - if they are going to have any.
Our Lil' Family replied:
My2Beauties replied: We usually get snow in December. The news lady did say last night that late this week we'll get our first frost the temp is going to drop 25-30 degrees between Wednesday and Thursday! I'm not ready for wintertime yet! I hate the cold!
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Not yet, but they are calling for snow flurries on Thurday which sucks!!
Today is beautiful!! 80 degree's with a northern breeze.
PrairieMom replied: We always get some before halloween. They are calling for flurries wed.
Kaitlin'smom replied: yep our temps are suppose to drop pretty fast.....(excuse me must go get more vitiman c) its annoing they change soooo fast.
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: there was a light dusting near my moms a couple weeks ago, and it is forcasted here for tonight.
holley79 replied: Nope.
luvmykids replied: Not yet but Halloween is when we turn the corner to winter so it shouldn't be long...
Heather77 replied: Not at our place yet, but we got some up in our mountains a few days ago.
Hillbilly Housewife replied: Still too early around here... Course the weather's been funky around the world this year, so it could be anytime. But I doubt before mid-november though... we were still wearing shorts and t-shirts the last couple days.
mom2my2cuties replied: Kelly where are you at??? It sounds like you might be really close to where my son lives?
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: I am in southeast Idaho. I'll PM you the town if you want me to. Actually, I need to update here anyway. Yesterday evening we had snow flurries. Winter's on the way to Idaho.
mom2my2cuties replied: He is in Eastern WA..Right across the state line from Coure D'Lane.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: That's a pretty long drive from me. And you're in Tennessee, right?
mom2my2cuties replied: Yes.
MyBrownEyedBoy replied: Even longer drive for you. Hope you get to make it soon.
mom2my2cuties replied: hehehehe I am gonna fly! I used to make that drive 4 times a year - all 2600 miles of it from Dallas to there - and I just am not going to add an extra 6 hours to that.
5littleladies replied: We are supposed to get some tomorrow-Maybe enough to stick to the grass in some places. It is October right?
Crystalina replied: Snow!:puke: I can't stand the stuff at all. The only good snow is a Christmas snow. Other then that I wish it would never fall. We live in a secluded area which is a major pain in the butt during snow. We are supposed to have lots of rain tomorrow and then it's going to drop down below freezing (about 31 ) Then we are supposed to have snow Thursday and Friday.
