I was in the hospital for 40 hours. A little over a day and a half. My mom said she was in the hospital after I was born for almost 4 days!! WOW! A lot's changed in 28 years.
b&bsmom replied: My mom was in for a week or so she got pnumeia (sp) after she had me. I was in the hospital about a day and a half or maybe closer to 2 days. I have to have an iv during labor and then 24 to 48 hrs after ( although both times it has been 24) because of my addison's disease. Yes a lot quicker these days!!
luvmykids replied: With the twins it was 2 nights after, we left the 3rd day. The nurse kept saying "Are you sure you want to go home, we can let you stay another night" They were so attached to them!
With Macie it was two more days, one more night, I also had my tubes tied right after she was delivered. (Well, 12 hours later)
Edward's Mommy replied: I was in the hospital for four days because I had a C-section.
huggybugboy replied: I was in for 5 days total. I had a csection and had some complications. Then 2 weeks later, I was back in for another 3 or 4...I dont remember. I had an infection.
garrettsmom replied: I was in for 3 days, but I had a c-section
CosmetologyMommy replied: I was in like 2 days so like 48 hours. They said I could stay longer but I was like noooo!!!!!!!
mckayleesmom replied: Mckaylee 5 days....Russell 4
pinniy replied: 48 hrs, but that's standard at both the hospitals I had my children for the babies' sake.
giffmom replied: I was there from Monday until Thursday and begging to go home. My ob said that I will only be there 2 days this time I hope so. I hate the hospital.
lesliesmom replied: With leslie I went in on Thursday morning (6am) for induction and came home Saturday, so over 48 hours.
With Christopher I went in about 2:30 am Thursday morning and came home Friday afternoon, just over 24 hours. They offered me the extra night at the hospital but I wanted to get home to my family.
This one, I don't know.. I hopefully will be there for 24 hours or so. We'll see, it won't be long now.
ilovemybaby replied: One day. I hated it there. I guess I'm going to have to put up with it this time if I want to get breastfeeding established before leaving.
Kirstenmumof3 replied: I was in the hospital with Claudia for 4 days, only because she wouldn't latch. With Emily and Spencer I think it was only 48 hours.
mummy2girls replied: Jordan.. 24 hours
Jenna 3 days.. but thats because i refused to leave until she ate ... and was perfectly fine!
A&A'smommy replied: I was in the hospital for 5 days cause I had a Cesarean and I got an infection afterwards
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: We were there for 7 days because Wil was jaundiced and his bili didn't go down to a level the docs felt comfortable with. So we did the light therapy in the hospital. It was awful! I became a "boarder" which means you are no longer a patient and the nurses ignore you. It also means you have to pay for anything they give you like aspirin and pads and food. DH made a lot of trips to the store! We also had to change rooms about five times because the new mommies got top priority over the boarders! Hope it doesn't happen again!
My3LilMonkeys replied: Just over 48 hours with Brooke, just under 48 with Madison.
Heather77 replied: 5 days for both my boys... and probably 5 this time too (4 atleast).
NEWMOM05 replied: 3 days- C-section and she had jaundice.
PrairieMom replied: 2 nights, 3 days. We were SOOOOO ready to some home by the end tho.
