Calimama replied: Horrible, DH was gone most of it, my mom had a LOT of health problems.. I'm ready for it to be over. wink.gif

luvmykids replied: If I told you some of the awful things that went on in 2007 you wouldn't believe me tongue.gif One thing after another after another after another....you get my idea, honestly the worst year I've had so far. Big things too, some of it will carry into 2008 but I'm ok with that, I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Anthony275 replied: i had many bad things happen, people i trusted used me, i had sombody in my family die, a lot of friends died, just glad its over and hopefully this year wont repeat it

Cece00 replied: Pretty good here! Hoping for a slightly better 2008 but I cant complain.

msoulz replied: Lost a good friend which made me realize each day on the planet is a blessing, so I'm glad to still be here so I complain about 2007!

AlexsPajamaMama replied: my papa passed away in 07 sleep.gif

Hello new start!! thumb.gif

MomToJade&Jordan replied: It was a heck of a lot better then 2006. Not the best though which I'm hoping for in 2008. happy.gif

ediep replied: now that I am mostly out of the woods with my anxiety issues, I think 2008 will be so much better!!

ZandersMama replied: I had a great year with the kids, Zavier and Zander have come so far and gotten past so much.

Unfortunately what I think will stick out about 2007 is the childrens wonderful father telling me he wont be around next Christmas if he finds a new wife and gets to have his daughter ( I cant have more kids growl.gif , it was a little below the belt)

redchief replied: It was so-so. Mostly 2007 was a transitional year for me. Amazing how as you get older you don't tolerate change as much as when you were younger. I think I'm where I want to be coming out of the blocks in '08 though.

Celestrina replied: Generally it sucked. The high points were wonderful, but the low definately outweighed the highs.

HuskerMom replied: 2007 wasn't horrible for me, but it wasn't great. I lost a good family friend, and there was a lot of drama from my mom. But other than that it wasn't bad.

lovemy2 replied: There were some BAD points but overall I can't complain - I have two wonderful healthy kids, a nice house, a godo job, enough money to be happy and the rest will work itself out with a little elbow grease tongue.gif

Maddie&EthansMom replied: 2007 was okay. The economy hurt us a bit, but it wasn't near as bad as 2006 and for that, I was grateful. However, 2008 should be a much better year. thumb.gif

CantWait replied: I really don't remember much from January through July, but from August to end December 2007 was awesome. I know 2008 is holding some pretty amazing opportunities for me and I look forward to everything that's to come.

A&A'smommy replied: It was alright..... wink.gif

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: 2007 was a tragic year for my MIL's nephew who was murdered, and my BF also lost her nephew in an accident, but when it comes to my direct family, I can't really complain. I've had worse years. We are hoping to move in 08, so I think this new year will be a big year for transitions. Exciting, yet worried of the unknown.

jcc64 replied: Everything's always relative, right guys? Some things sucked for me- lost my job and career, money's a big issue, been raked over the coals business-wise. But, my family's all healthy, we love each other. My dh's is enjoying a meaningful relationship with his family for the first time in his life. Where there's hope, there's everything. My friend sent me this poem, which I thought says it all about New Year's

Ring Out, Wild Bells
Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1809 - 1892)

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light;
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

Ring out the grief that saps the mind,
For those that here we see no more,
Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
Ring in redress to all mankind.

Ring out a slowly dying cause,
And ancient forms of party strife;
Ring in the nobler modes of life,
With sweeter manners, purer laws.

Ring out the want, the care the sin,
The faithless coldness of the times;
Ring out, ring out my mournful rhymes,
But ring the fuller minstrel in.

Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.

Ring out old shapes of foul disease,
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.

Ring in the valiant man (and woman) and free,
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkenss of the land,
Ring in the Christ (Buddha, Allah, Yhwh, Krishna, Gaia, Great Spirit, etc) that is to be.

5littleladies replied: 2007 was a very difficult year for us on many points, but we are all together, warm and healthy so I can't complain too much. I am really hoping 2008 sends us on an upward path though. happy.gif
