So what are your plans for Memorial Day & weekend?

MommyToAshley replied: Ashley is going to partipate in the VA ceremony and help put flags on the graves. After that, I am not sure. We don't have plans as of right now, but that will probably change by the time Memorial Day arrives.

Ryan would say: putting tile down, putting tile down, putting tile down, putting pool up. That's what he is doing this weekend.

youngmomofone replied: I don't know yet. It's our last weekend here before we move, so I'm sure dh's friends will want to get together for a bbq and of course drinking.

luvmykids replied: DH is trying to buy a little boat by then so we can go to one of the lakes. If he doesn't, we'll just take the fishing boat on the river.

Our Lil' Family replied: Is it next weekend? Like 29, 30 & 31? That's the weekend we're celebrating our anniversary. Thomas is going to the inlaw's house....hmmm, since it's a long weekend we may get an extra night out of it..... :scratchingheadandplotting:

Saturday~Stephen's HS has alumni day activities in the morning so we always go there. After that we are talking about either taking a bike trail or the canoe out.
Sunday~ Olivia, Stephen, O's friend & my MIL are going to a Reds game. Kick butt seats 5 rows behind the Red's dugout. I'm scrapping all day and hanging out with Parker.
Monday~Memorial Day parade & service in the AM. Cookout in the PM

coasterqueen replied: Well, I haven't heard from our family yet - they usually have a huge cookout, so we'll definitely go to that if there is one.

The girls have swimming lessons on Saturday. Sunday the girls and I have a baby shower. Ryan is working on tile and putting pool up. I have lots of yard work to do. The girls want a few play dates.

Oh, drats. Well then, nothing! Tim is working nights all weekend, even Monday. Oh well.

When is your anniversary? Our's is May 31 so we'll be celebrating next weekend, too...maybe. Not sure if we have anyone to watch the kids - probably celebrate with them and....not with them.

It's today Karen. Last year we took Thomas with us to dinner, we just laughed about it...I mean after you have kids you just kinda roll with it...sometimes we can celebrate alone, if not, oh well!

Then on Monday Mary Beth is marching in the band at school for the local parade. They will march in two towns. Then a chicken BBQ at the local American Legion.

A week from Sunday I will be on the beach in North Carolina for two entire weeks and that's about all my brain can think about right now

I will. Although he's a little perturbed at me right at the moment. I came home last night from gymnastics with the girls and he had been slaving away at tiling and I didn't like the cut on one of them where it meets up to the carpet. He was going to put some piece over the two where it meets and you wouldn't see the cut....but of course I didn't like that and I sorta got upset.....sorta. So needless to say I'm not sure if he'll go back in there tonight to tile or not. I should have kept my mouth shut for sure.

PrairieMom replied: Its our annual birthday weekend. Ben's party is Saturday, Al's is sunday. the inlaws will be here tomorrow night.
Thankfully, we planed Ben's party for a HORRIBLE day, everyone is going out of town, so 1/2 his guests can't make it. I know, I'm a horrible mother, but geeze, we just don't need all the "stuff" , and I would go nuts with all those kids running around.

Are you expecting rain at all?

The forecast all week so no rain and now it's saying rain off and on all weekend. I had SO many things that need to be done on our land this weekend and a 3 day one would be good to do those things. Between rain and buffalo gnats - I'll never get anything done out there.
