Soaps
Halo42101 wrote: Anyone watch them? I watch ABC Soaps. I am off to watch them now. Fridays are great because they are cliff-hangers.
moped replied: I only get to watch 2 on Fridays........I watch Y&R and as the world turns.........
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Nope
I used to watch Y&R and Days, but I'm not much of a TV person anymore.
TheOaf66 replied: when I was in college I was hooked on Y & R
I still watch 90210 when it is on if that counts
Jackie012007 replied: ooohhhhh yes... I love Days and General Hospital... annnnnd (I'm so going to get picked on for this).... PASSIONS! It is sooooo stupid but it's fun to watch it and just laugh!
C&K*s Mommie replied: No I used to watch Y&R years ago. Days too, years ago. And when it was still on Another World. But it has been a long time, so I am not familiar with the storylines of any of them anymore.
I heard that Mrs. Horton on Days died IRL. That was sad, since she was the "mother/grandmother" figure on the show a long time ago.
Jackie012007 replied: I LOVE 90210... it was the only soap-type show I could get DF to watch with me... he was off on wednesday and we were hanging out around the house and I told him we HAD to watch soaps starting at 1... yyyeah he lasted all of 15 minutes then went to the room we are going to use as the nursery and painted the whole thing! I had been nagging him for a few weeks to do it, too! Ohhh, the power of soaps!!!
3xsthefun replied: I don't watch them like I use to.
Once in awhile I will watch Days or Passions. I use to love Passions, but now I've kinda gotten out of it.
Jackie012007 replied: I'm watching Passions right now... gosh it has gotten so ridiculous mermaids, sorcerers, a toddler who is apparently magic or soemthing... ahhhhh
kimberley replied: i watch AMC if i have a day off work and ATWT sometimes after work. i used to watch Y&R but haven't really in years.
Liz_Kaitlyns_Mama replied: I've been crazy about Passions for years. Its SO LAME but thats why its so good to me, lol
Halo42101 replied: It sounds like a lot of you are into Y&R and Passions. Jackie mentioned that 90210 is the only soap like T.V. your DF would watch with you, so I was wondering if there are other husbands who watch soaps with their wives. My husband has watched my Soaps with me on different occasions and can remember the s/l, different characters and theme songs. Sometimes he'll hum to them out of the clear blue. It's funny to hear him hum those theme songs.
AlexsPajamaMama replied: No, I don't watch any Soaps.
My Mom used to be ALL ABOUT her Soaps and would tape I think it was Days....the one with Tad and Dixie...and my Dad would watch it with her and get all involved too.
luvmykids replied: The only one I really watched was Another World, Vicky, Marly and Jake kept me guessing
coasterqueen replied: Used to watch a few, but I just watch AMC now. I don't miss a day. Course I'm like 5 days behind now and feigning to watch them.
PrairieMom replied: I have never seen a single episode of any soap all the way through.
MomToJade&Jordan replied: When I can actually sit down and watch a soap it's GH. I've been watching that one off and on since Luke and Laura got married.
gr33n3y3z replied: no I dont watch any
jaytrevjax replied: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who likes passions! It's such a ridiculous show, but halarious to watch! It's definatley entertaining! Not much of a "daytime drama" I laugh more than cry! Anyway, I watch days too, but can't get into it since they killed off little Zach! BTW-Alice is still kicking it, but, the actress who plays her looks like she's getting to the point that she shouldn't be doing it anymore, she has been having a hard time delivering her lines, but I really like her anyway!
holley79 replied: Nope sure don't. The ladies I use to work with watched them every night.
Our Lil' Family replied: When I can I watch AMC and Days (AMC is on now in the living room). I've caught a few minutes of Passions and that was all I needed! I thought they were joking for a minute when they were talking about mermaids! My gosh that show is ridiculous!
