Soccer Player
kit_kats_mom wrote: Took Katherine to her first Soccer practice this evening. She looks totally cute in her too big soccer gear. I wasn’t able to find cleats for her though. Not for lack of trying however. I drove over an hour today to go to the sports stores, Wal Mart and Target. I am beginning to think that they don’t make toddler sized cleats.
She is playing for the Cheetahs or as Megan, her teammate called them, “the Cheetos!”. Kids are so funny. They didn’t actually get to practice since we had a soaking rain from hurricane Katrina but we got all of the paper work filled out and got to scope out the competition.
kit_kats_mom replied: K modeling her gear. Note the shin guards that go to the tops of her knees and the shorts that go to the middle of her shins? We are waiting for the team shirts. those should be in by the first game in two weeks. :rollsmile:

I never thought about cleats and pads for Alec. I better see if it's required for his soccer program.

Those are childrens sizes I think but I shot them an email to double check. She's a super narrow toddler size 7  I think they dont' make them that small. That's ok. The coach cant' find them either and so he ok'd regular sneakers.
