Some is playing with my mind! - What do I do?
coasterqueen wrote: I sold product A for DH on ebay and sold product B from myself on there. I mentioned in another post about this.
Well Product A guy emailed me last night saying he didn't receive A, he received B and a paypal receipt was enclosed with the other guys name on it. Then he suggesed I contact Product B guy and they could send the products to each other and I reimburse them both postage for the mishap. Ok, fine I did that. Then a 1/2 hour later I receive an email from Product A guy saying he looked at my username and feedback and noticed Product B guy already left me feedback so I'm probably not going to get the product back from him, blah blah blah. I emailed Product A guy back and said I hadn't heard from Product B guy yet, but I wanted to give him the rest of the day to respond and if he didn't I guess I have no choice but to refund his money back to him.
WELLLL Product B guy just responded saying that he got the right product.
WHAT IN THE HECK IS GOING ON???? Someone is trying to screw me over and I don't know what to do. Product A is WAY more expensive than Product B and is what I'm going to have to reimburse.
Dh thinks Product B guy is screwing me because he got the better end of the deal. Well he says he got the right product so what can I do.
I wonder if Product A guy is screwing me over, but how would he have known the other guys name unless he got the paypal receipt with wrong item.
What do you think I should do? I am NEVER dealing with Ebay again. I've had it!
Sarah&Mackenzie replied: Maybe have them take of picture of the product they received, that way they have proof they got the wrong/right product. If they don't do that I would contact e-bay customer service and see what they say.
coasterqueen replied: Ok, now I'm really feeling like I'm losing my mind! Now Product B guy emailed me and said "wait, disregard last email. I just received a second package from you and it contained Product A".
HUH? I only sent out 2 packages. How can one guy get 2 from me and the other get one from me???????
AshleyRose replied: Oh my !!! Poor you !! This is very confusing!! I think the picture idea is good. And ask the guy who some how has 2 packages to take pictures of both !!
C&K*s Mommie replied: wow! that is confusing
ITA with the picture idea, and contacting ebay in the meantime to give them a heads- up that something suspicious is going on, but you want to inform them anyhow in advance.
luvmykids replied: Very strange, did you by any chance do confirmed shipping, so that you have any proof of what someone received?
Kaitlin'smom replied: just a question, do they live any hwere near each other, guess it woudl not really matter they could be working together. Are they similar items? I dont know if a picture woudl do it they could just take one of something else, or cut and paste the one you had listed. Sorry hun I am not sure I would ask for A guy to tell you what he got and what reciept was in there and same with B espicaly with 2 packages arriving from you. Also how is there score? Deffinalty contact e-bay and dont give out refunds till you sure, I would also require him to send the wrong item back in order to get the refund.
EvesMom replied: Have product A guy return what he got. Then you will know who is fibbing.
moped replied: I am confused
Is Product A and B two different packages, but one is far more expensive and would the person that got hte wrong package even want the one that he was't supposed to get????
coasterqueen replied: Jen - yes, product A was a camera memory stick that Dh had bought for a camera he used in Louisiana that we can't use in our camera. Product B was actually some pump cleaning bags that I had bought but didn't like.
So I guess the guy who was supposed to receive the bags might like the memory stick more if he had that kind of camera or knew that it's expensive and can resell it.
I emailed the one guy and told him to send me the bags back and I'll reimburse postage and I'll do the same for the other guy. And then send the packages back out. I just can't trust they'll swap packages safely and can't trust the picture bit because they could go to a store and take a picture of the item, kwim?
jem0622 replied: Oh my Karen! HUGS. I have no clue hon on how to fix that. I am using Craigslist a lot and Freecycle.
HUGS
coasterqueen replied: Well I emailed the guy back who received the wrong product and he's understanding and will send me the product back.
The other guy who said he received 2 packages from me is still claiming he did and said he will send the other product that is not his back, BUT now he's claiming I didn't put everything in there I claimed in the auction.
~Roo'sMama~ replied: Maybe he thought better of lying and keeping it and decided to make up a story about getting 2 packages.
I hope you get it all straightened out Karen! Sounds frustrating.
I forgot to add: How can 2 package guy think that you didn't include everything in his package when he hasn't even gotten the right one yet? He sounds confused. Maybe he bought a similar item from another ebayer at the same time and is confusing that one with yours.
