Some pics from the weekend

Maddie&EthansMom wrote: The kids and I went to my hometown this past weekend. My high school played their rival in football on Friday night (and WON 56-13!!) You know Texas and football...the stadium was PACKED! Sunday we went to the mountains...in Oklahoma. Yes, there are mountains in Oklahoma...those of you in New Mexico and Colorado might know them as "large rocky hills". It was fun, nonetheless and the kids had a blast. Well, Ethan did. Maddie was kind of afraid.

I love this picture! Maddie's face is priceless. She headed back to the car shortly after that picture was taken. That's my dad holding Ethan's hand.

And this is our new baby! Her name is Scout. She is a 5 week old rat terrier. She is very smart and very sweet. She loves being swaddled and so far she is sleeping pretty good at night. Potty training is going well, too.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: You guys are right, Maddie is SO tall!!! She grew 3.5 inches since last year at this time! She's in the 70th percentile for height and 30th for weight. Tall and skinny...lucky girl! Her ped thinks she will be taller than me. I'm 5'7". She gets her long legs from Scotty.

The puppy is so CUTE! We also have a rat terrier named Sugar. We got her when she was 6 weeks or so, and now she is 2 1/2. She did NOT potty train easily at all...she just really loved using it in the house She's pretty much a mess, but she's MY mess Anyway, Sugar looked just like Scout at that age
