Soooo pumped - HOT HOT this weekend
moped wrote: I know most of you don't want the hot hot weather, but I love it and want it.
So, in farenheit this weekend is going to be in the 90's........thats pretty good for us.
Ia m getting Jack a slide to put in his pool and we are going to play all weekend!!!
BAC'sMom replied: If you want anymore HOT weather let me know I can send some more your way.
5littleladies replied: I'm glad someone is enjoying the heat!
Sounds like fun! I'm sure Jack will love the slide for the pool.
moped replied: Oooooo yes please.........I need to seriously work on my tan before holidays next week
coasterqueen replied: Have fun! It's finally going to be in the mid 80's here (high 90's last week) so I'm going to be outside as well, but enjoying the cooler weather.
moped replied: Well I wasn't going to get it because it was $40 and I have spent so much on toys lately that I couldn't justify it but then my mom reminded me that I put $100 of his birthday cash in the cupboard.....so he gets the slide after all - but he is paying for it - LOL
Nina J replied: Have fun this weekend...
C&K*s Mommie replied: Have a great time this weekend!
BTW... I hope this is not a dumb question (I am good at asking those anyhow) but does Canada get high humidity? Just curious, since you are much further north than I am here in Florida, I would not think that you do, but I also thought Canada was mostly cold weather too. I learned differently a while back about that.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Have fun!!!
It's been in the 110's here. It's just way too hot.
mamasbigbaby replied: Have fun with Jack and hs big, blue eyes!!
moped replied: Very high humidity - they are saying 100% for the next week. We dont get as high humidity as the easterm provinces though..........normally in ALberta we are relatively dry. BUT I am sure zenmommy is dying in the east
moped replied: Also Nicole, we get the four seasons very prominently here.
Summer - HOT.......like 80-90 for a few months.....depending on where you live, sometimes longer sometimes shorter
Fall - cooler - leaves turning about 60's, starts about October
Winter - COLD.....December/January freaking cold........I don't do farenheit well, but I think about 40's and much colder
Spring - about March/April......nicer, melting etc.........temps about 60's ish
But Canada is a big country so it reawlly depending where you live. Some places don't get much or any snow even..........
mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: It was about 103 here last weekend, so I'm actually looking forward to it cooling off tomorrow. Today it's only in the high 70's...I'm liking the breeze, although I'm like you, I do like heat! Take lots of pics of Jack on his slide! I'm sure he will have a blast!
C&K*s Mommie replied: YOWZA! So your particular province really is like a twin of us here in this part of Fl we have varying temps like that too. I honestly thought since you were closer to the North Pole, and technically we are closer to the equator, thar our average temps would be like night and day. So there I go, another new thing to know for today. 100% humidity!? ((choking)) We are sitting at about 41%, and that alone is tough. Could not imagine 100% humidity. eeekkkk!
redplaydoh replied: I always thought Switzerland would be cooler.... it's 95-ish with 65% humidity or more... the kicker here is that NO ONE HAS A/C!! Very few stores have AC and no residential places have it. DH's office and factory doesn't have AC and inside the factory it gets warmer than the outside temp with all the machinery running etc. We're melting, but I'm not complaining too much because I'll take summer over winter ANY time.
ZandersMama replied: I'm in Nova Scotia, and its been horribley hot here lately, dont know farenheit at all but mom mentioned a couple days ago that it was 100 degrees.......its the humidity driving it so high, we really need a good thunder storm!
Jackie012007 replied: upstate NY weather is like your Canadian weather on CRACK! We have 2 primary seasons, Winter (5 ft of snow minimum...we got 7 here at one point last winter ), blustery and FREEZING from October until March), Summer (May - September, 60-70% humidity, either rainy or hazy with anywhere from 80 - 110 and maybe 5 days of actual sun), and then like 3 weeks in between the two of straight rain and miserable cold. Lovely place to live
A&A'smommy replied: ugh its been up over 105 here and it SUCKS but I'm glad you like it and can enjoy it!!!
mamasbigbaby replied: I'm so sorry.
CantWait replied: Have fun, sounds like a ton of fun.
3xsthefun replied: Have fun! Sounds like a great time!
