C&K*s Mommie replied: I did not recognize him either, then when I did I could not get over it. It looked better than the spikey look he had before, but the color was too dark for his pale skin, and it looked greasy. I could not help but think Pee Wee Herman for some reason.

Clay and that other guy on stage looked like a before and after shot-Bill was home breifly and I had it on TV. I walked in the livingroom to him sitting on the couch like It was too funny!

C&K*s Mommie replied: Like Lindsay Lohan taking the high road, after Brandon Davis said those digusting remarks about her, and not coming out with a back remark directed at him- I am glad he actually showed up. In a way it says that he is not cowering by being a no-show.

I heard also that if any of the media asked him about that scandal they would be banned for the rest of the night.

The season finale of American Idol is tonight, and along with the thrill of seeing Taylor in another jewel-toned velvet blazer (rock on with your bad self, Taylor) FOX has some surprise guests up their sleeve! No one is being confirmed as of yet (that would ruin the surprise, after all) but Clay Aiken has long been rumored to be on the list.

Aiken, of course, has recently become enmeshed in a bit of a scandal – a gay p*rn scandal. An “actor” in that particular film genre has made claims that Clay attempted to pick up on him on a gay dating website and supplied webcam pictures a shirtless Aiken took of himself.

FOX has heard these rumors, as have most of America and the entire journalism community — and FOX is taking no chances tonight. According to an Idol insider, the network issued a directive today stating, “Entertainment journalists covering the AI finale are being instructed that any attempt to question or solicit comment from Clay Aiken regarding his recent scandal will result in their being barred from the finale.”

The insider also stated that the directive used the language “if” Clay appears… so it seems that his guest spot is still uncertain — his name has yet to show up on any rehearsal info or call sheets.

MomtoPate replied: I didn't recognize him either...I thought, "surely that is not Elton John" when he was walking out (because of the song) but then they got a close up of him and I was like, "that's CLAY!! WHAT DID HE DO?!?!" I think that his other look was better for him....but I think that it was just more of a shock The last time I saw him, he looked more like that guy that was on stage with him...(btw, his reaction to Clay was so priceless!) and now, well, I am not sure what he looks like!!
