I have had a bad turn of events in the last two weeks.
first our entire family came down with a bad flu. caleb was out of school over a week with a high fever and was delusional. then jake got it and was throwing up and you know he hardly eats as it is, then dh got it...and finally me, the care taker..
then last week my dh who is a truck driver, got into an accident at work and ran over a car, the person he hit is fine, but it cost dh his job.
we just moved to a brand new town and a brand new school for this job, and we spent every last dime to do it...so we are really in a bind.
things just keep getting worse.
and we found out that we lost our health insurance right away, i always thought that there was a 30 day grace period but they say no.
and with jakes issues we need our insurance.
so please pray for us. i dont know whats going to happen.

lovemy2 replied: Oh My Stacy - how awful - he lost his job over an accident - that is horrible - and what about COBRA - don't they HAVE to offer that to you - meaning you keep being covered under their insurance at their rate but you pay for it - tough I know since DH isn't working but my god how can they leave kids without insurance? I would call an attorney or something that just seems wrong - call your county find out about insurance programs that are low or no cost - here in NY we have Healthy NY - I am sorry Stacy - many prayers to you and your family -

boyohboyohboy replied: we are trying to look into cobra but its going to cost way to much. so we are looking into CHIP for the kids, at least they will be covered, but its a paper nightmare, we cant do chip until we start getting unemployment checks and thats going to take a week, then we have to have three of them, so thats three more weeks, then i am checking into WIC for the boys formulas, but they madate that the babies have up to date vax. well we dont do that with andrew, and he is the only healthy kid i have. i refuse to make them get their shots. but it puts us in a bind. andrews formula is $80 a week and jakes is $70. and thats not including diapers.
this is just a nightmare.
we are looking for work now.
thats why i am not on as much.
thanks for the prayers, we sure need it.
the man that dh hit was fine but he has decided to take the company for a mulit million dollar ride. the police man even said he was fine, but now he is claiming all kinds of things.
it just couldnt happen at a worse time.
