Speaking of cars - Is anyone as bad as me

Example: My neighbor pulled out of his driveway one day really fast and I was behind him on the gravel road well he threw gravel all over my car. I was MAD I didnt catch him the same day but I told DH about it and he said something to him. Well I caught up with him a few weeks later and told him that if he would have scratched my car that his would blow up in the middle of the night. I was so mad. I know I am anal about this.

Is anyone else this bad.

Danalana replied: No! I mean, I don't want gravel thrown on it or anything, but I'm just as laid back about this one as I have been with all of them.

DillsMommy replied: OMG--that is exactly my husband. He dusts it off everyday when he gets home from work and it gets to stay in the garage. He washes it at least once a week. It's gorgeous though--so I can't say that I blame him.

jcc64 replied: I couldn't be more opposite. My cars are like traveling dumpsters- half-empty water bottles, candy wrappers, toys, baseball refuse, you name it- it's on the floor of my car. I try to crack the whip once and awhile, but it's a losing battle.

Before the kids my car was clean and neat. Now that mine is 10 years old and full of cheerios I have lost the will and time to keep it beautiful.

But I do keep the food wrappers out of mine as that is just gross!

My2Beauties replied: Well now if you ask me about my car, I'm not anal at all, it's a mess! There are toys everywhere, t-ball stuff, candy wrappers, etc. It's terrible. Now DH's Chrysler 300...um that's a different story. He washes it at least once or twice a week, is constantly shining up his rims, cleans the inside out every 3-4 days, he's very bad about it. But I would be too...it's a beautiful car!

Me...not so much. It isn't until the kids start drawing in the dirt that I wash it. It's a truck so it doesn't bother me to be dirty. If it were a car maybe it would.

ETA: The inside is pretty clean. There are days (when we live in it) that it gets dirty but for the most part it's not bad.

Brias3 replied: Oh, I am totally like this with my Mustang. It has to be PRISTINE at all times. With my daily driver, its harder to keep things clean because I have the kids in and out all the time, but it drives me nuts to drive around in a dirty sports car Now that it's summer, I've been driving it alot more and I swear I vacuum it the minute anyone gets out.

I know, I need to calm down big time. It is ONLY a car. But still, I totally get what you mean!
