Speaking of hobbies and passions

TANNER'S MOM replied: Yes very much so. We go 4 wheeling..we go camping alot, fishing and hunting. We shoot sometimes and we ride and train horses. But the thing about our hobbies are..they are stuff we can do alone also. If I don't feel like going hunting, he goes. If I don't feel like shooting he can. If I want to ride alone I can.

I have hobbies I alone enjoy also. And that's wonderful too.

TheOaf66 replied: other than going out to dinner no, we are polar opposites so I like sports and outdoorsy things, she like shopping and music...so no we don't have a lot of similar interests

mysweetpeasWil&Wes replied: We both like to hike, but I wouldn't say it's a hobbie. Just something we do when we think of it. We also both like good food, like gourmet foods. So we're into that together, but when it comes to cooking, I do most of it. We both are also good entertainers. Since we both have been in the service industry, we know how to throw a good party! We like doing that together.

stella6979 replied: Jeff and I share lots of hobbies together. We play softball and basketball, we bowl, work in the yard, play board games/cards, etc......

A&A'smommy replied: nope none that we share... I wish we did though.. we use to fish together but I don't like to do that very often.

Our Lil' Family replied: Not as many as I'd like. He is outdoorsy and I try really hard to be but I'm just not. I do like to throw the top down on his Jeep on a nice day and just ride but with Thomas now it's a little harder to be spontaneous. We do both enjoy movies and eating out and an occasional in person sporting event but that's about it. I like to shop and he hates it. I think back in the day I was a little more fun, I seem like a fuddy duddy since having a child.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Nope, not really. I pretty much just do my own thing. When he gets the opportunity he joins me, but he has no hobbies or interests outside of work/family. He doesn't watch or play sports and doesn't really care for the outdoors other than yardwork. He loves watching TV and listening to music. I can't sit still long enough. I'm pretty active and like to be doing something at all times.

luvmykids replied: Yes and no....we like the same things but don't do them a whole lot. We used to play on pool teams and sand volleyball teams together, which was a TON of fun. We both love horses and camping, etc just never seem to work it to do it together. We have a blast playing golf together but that doesn't happen very often.

CantWait replied: My dh and I are complete opposites. I love the outdoors and since he's spent most of his career outdoors, he's not nuts over it anymore. The only thing we really share is our love of music, and that doesn't get us far because he doesn't like to go to bars and clubs and dance whereas I do.

Well, we do participate in each other's hobbies occassionally, but there are none that we really "share". We do things together, but I wouldn't call them hobbies really. He loves football, sports, demolition derby's, playing softball....and I go in support of him. I love music, singing (Troy can't hold a tune), dancing, and the performing arts and he goes in support of me. We do both love comedy though. I wouldn't mind going to see more stand-up shows if our budget allowed, which Troy also really likes.

I think we have a nice balance actually. We have some same interests and like doing the same things together when it comes to weekend outings, but we also have our seperate hobbies which allows us to have our own interests. We can always find something to do together that we both like, but when it comes to hobbies and extra curricular activities...total opposite.

And for the record, I DO like the outdoors...I"m just not a hunting gal like he is. I do like camping...as long as it's not in a tent!
