BAC'sMom replied: No none here. Forecasted to get some in a few days, but I doubt it. They say this in the worse drought they have had in over 50 years.

I believe it! It is getting very hard around here. The fields are dry and nothing is growing the way it should be....If it turns and starts raining now Bill says there is still time for things to green up but we are not holding our breath! My mom and dad have gotten lots more rain than us and Bill said even south east is alot greener. It is gonna be a HOT summer!

Nope none on our side of town either Abbie. It really looked like it for awhile though. Right now it has really clouded up and they are getting it pretty good right north of us. Bandera was under tornado warning earlier and the news at lunch said if you lived in Comfort and had a vehicle you liked to get it under cover because of Baseball size hail. Hope the bad stuff stays north and we just get the rain!

We got lots of rain and it is in the forecast for several days. The thunder was really loud. I swear at one point it shook our (all brick) house.

JP&KJMOM replied: Aimee are you getting rain now? I looked at the radar and it looked like that area might be getting some.

ETA that it is actually north and west of DFW.

JP&KJMOM replied: Abbie go to www.weather.com and type in your zipcode and it will give you a map. click on the map and then map in motion and it will shoe the radar moving. Bad part is the site is not updated oftern. KSAT, WOAI and mysa.com also have the same features on their websites to.

Maddie&EthansMom replied: Actually it isn't raining as we speak, but it did rain all night. We need the rain. We actually don't get as much as we used to and not near as much as a little further east of here.

Abbie you guys need rain to fill up that river so I can go toobing this summer.

I was just seeing if SA got any rain. I saw on the news last night that they might get thunderstorms. I was hoping it might continue south to my area. How much rain has the Dallas/Ft Worth had this year?

We just got a really hard rain for a whopping 3 minutes. I repeat 3 minutes. Beggers can be choosey right?

ETA now it is really coming down in a hard shower

punkeemunkee'smom replied: We beat you Karen! It rained here for 4 minutes! Just enough so that the roads were slick and the dead grass and dirt stuck to our feet when we got in the truck and again in the house

BAC'sMom replied: ANY of you get more rain today? As of 10:00 (news) they have moved our chances for rain back to the end of next week.
