Spent the morning in er with Jenna:(

I quickly put her hand in cool water and wrapped it in a cold cloth and stuck her int he car and rushed her to the er. OMG! I felt so bad! Bad mom that i am! I felt HORRIBLE! Its a second degree burn and they gave her some pain meds if tylenol doesnt work. She is doing ok now. she is now starting to use the hand a bit. Its the worst possible place to et a burn. on the palm of her hand. So i just have to watch it for infectiona nd make sure the blister doesnt pop... Poor girlio!

My2Boyz replied: Poor thing. I hope that she is doing better, and that you are too. When I was little I touched the front of the stove and burnt both hands; my mom said she had to tape socks on my hands so that I wouldn't infect them. Luckily, I don't remember it, so hopefully she won't either.

julesmom replied: Oh, poor Jenna. And you are not a bad mom! It could have happened to anyone! You are a good mom for taking her to the ER and getting it taken care of right away. Other moms might have just put ice on it and aloe or something.

I hope she is feeling ok.

When Erin went to get her hair cut I guess she was about 2 she grabbed the curling Iron and it stuck to her hand bc of all the hair spray

zdk753 replied: You are not a bad mom. I know just how you feel. My son Dylan touched the barbecue pit one time & had a bad burn on his palm. It's good that Jenna is using it. Just make sure to check constantly for infections. I'll be praying for a quick recovery.

Aron told his sister what happened and she told him not to give her crap because if anyone feels bad its shelly for what happened. So good thing he didnt give me crap because look out!!!!!!!!

When brae was 12 mnths he grabbed my curling iron off of my vanity, it took quite awhile for it to heal b/c it was in the palm of his hand.
