moped wrote: Don't laugh you guys - i think need to do this to try to get through this.......

First post - today was a pretty good day. Only felt pukey once, but got through a pretty yucky day at work.

Loving my pregnancy!!! tongue.gif

rolling_smile.gif rolling_smile.gif

moped replied: Oh wow - only 192 days left to go - this pregnancy is really cruising along!!!!!!!

Less than 200 days!!!!!!!!

LOVE IT!

Twelve Volt Man replied: LOL!

boyohboyohboy replied: Jen you are doing great! How about is there something you crave yet? something that you just love to eat? what goodies are in store for you today?

moped replied:
Well I am going to get a decaf coffee and a really fatty raspberry delight to go with it.

I made it to work without getting sick......and I am dressed. My hair is still tied back, so I need to work on that a bit more! And I was only 10 minutes late for work, which is a huge improvement!

Things are reawlly looking up

I LOVE BEING PREGNANT - I LOVE BEING PREGNANT!!!!!!!

As far as cravings - last night i ate 4 freezies

Mommy2BAK replied: rolling_smile.gif you crack me up Jen!

moped replied:
Happy Happy Thoughts!!! wacko.gif

tammyhopkins replied: YOUR A LOON!!!!!! blink.gif

lisar replied: Well atleast you are trying right?

Kaitlin'smom replied: so let me get this right, you really dont like being pg and are trying to enjoy it?

moped replied:
Trying very hard

Kaitlin'smom replied: think of what you get in the end.....sorry you despise being pg so much, any idea why?

moped replied:
Simply because I am very very sick all day all night all the time

Kaitlin'smom replied:
sorry, no wonder, does it last the entire pg or just for a while? I really feel bad for you, that woudl be terrible, but keep thinking of the end and the nice cute little bundle of joy you get....and think of all the things you can torment them with when they grow up, think of silly pics you can take and use later, stories of things said/done, guilt for making you so sick so long....... laugh.gif did that help any?

moped replied:
Yes that does help because when I saw Jack I had so many emotions - it was incredible!!! I fell in love instantly!!!!

Thank you DI!

Oh and with Jack it lasted for the whole pg.........

Calimama replied: Wow, I can't believe you already 12 weeks!!! It seems like you just found out! You're doing great hun. Time will fly! hug.gif hug.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: At least you are attempting to enjoy it!!

It will be over soon enough ... smile.gif

Danalana replied: It's good that you're enjoying being pregnant so much wink.gif

I think I need a thread about how much I enjoy NOT being pregnant. Maybe reverse psychology will do the trick!

Mommy2BAK replied: By the way, I'm right there with you Jen, for some reason I remember liking being pregnant with Blakely, and this time its just so different. It's really not that I can't wait for him to be here, b/c i feel so overwhelmed with how much I need to get done BEFORE he arrives, I guess it's more of it's summertime and I wanna be wearing cute summer clothes and not feel fat, ugly, exhausted, sick, ya know... the works!

luvmykids replied:
Oh you poor thing, I was like that too. Would it make you laugh to hear all the funny places I puked? emlaugh.gif

moped replied:
Oh I could tell you some funnies too!

moped replied:
Are you just trying to make me feel better? tongue.gif

Mommy2Isabella replied: Look at it this way ... when I found out I was PG with Bella, I was only 4 DAYS PG ... what a long nine months that was ... at least you have that going for you !!

moped replied: Thursdays are good days because my ticker changes on Thursday!

CantWait replied: emlaugh.gif laugh.gif emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif
Omgosh Jen, I'm cracking up here, you're so funny. I wish I had words of encouragement, but I don't so I'm sorry. hug.gif
Well ok maybe I do have a little bit of encouragement, with Robbie I was sick 24/7 for the whole 35 weeks I was pregnant (this is not the part that is suppose to make you feel good by the way), and with Anthony it only last a couple months, (so maybe you'll be feeling better soon) hug.gif

moped replied: Well today is ok - I actually did my hair today........WOOHOO.

Still VERY happy to be sick and tired all the time!!!!!!! wink.gif

lovemy2 replied: Just keep chanting -

I am in a good place, I am in a good place, I am in a good place, I am in a good place, I am in a good place, I am in a good place, I am in a good place, I am in a good place...

Is it working yet laugh.gif

Have you ever heard of or tried sea bands? They are bands you wear on your wrists that put pressure on a pressure spot on the bottom of your wrist - it is supposed to help with the nausea - they are really sold for motion sickness - I used them with Olivia and they did work - well at least I think they did maybe it was all in my head but who cares - it worked....if you can't find them there I know they sell them in our local grocery store - I can send them to you - they are cheap...like less than $5....

moped replied:
Oh I have them - they are C@%P

Sorry but NOTHING helps!

Anyone heard of Dr. Reckeweg R52 - a guys wife gave me some........???

boyohboyohboy replied:
I used the sea bands also with both my kids, because I had bad morning, noon and night sickness with both. they did help, but at first the ones i got were not tight enough, the second pair were tighter on my wrist, and left a ball imprint on my wrist...so maybe they are not tight enough to hit the pressure point?
I found them really helpful and every time I took them off which was only to shower I got sick.

I know just how you feel. I was only sick for the first 6 month with jake.

so maybe it will get better.

Mommy2Isabella replied: I need to read your thread for encouragement. I am right there with you. No puking ... just nasueas all the time. URG ...

I love being pregnant smile.gif

moped replied: Oh look, my ticker changed - that is always a good day!!!!!! Look how quickly this is going!!!!!!!!

That is all I have to say right now or I might get negative on my happy post!~

lisar replied:
Keep thinking happy thoughts.

moped replied: So today is starting out good, I don't work today and Jack and I have a busy day, so other than being tired and needing to make an effort with my hair I should make it through the day!

Nighttime seems to be worse

Happy thoughts!

Did i mention I LOVE BEING PREGNANT!

Danalana replied: Jen, I don't think you mentioned it! So...you love it, then?

tongue.gif
I hope you have a good, PREGNANT day!

lisar replied: Just remember HAPPY THOUGHTS!!!!!! Good luck with today.

moped replied: very fun day - bought some clothes at Gap maternity - love them! I really am happy right now. tongue.gif

Danalana replied: I'm glad you're happy!

moped replied: Ahhh Monday mornings are lovely.....besides the fact that I am super cranky today - I am LOVING this pregnancy!

CantWait replied: laugh.gif LOL Jen, I'm just not sure if you're convincing me or not. Maybe you are and I'm convincing myself you're not. In which case stop playing with my head. tongue.gif

A&A'smommy replied: hehe your so funny!!! I hope today is going well for you I'm sorry you have been so sick!!! hug.gif

2BMom replied: Very cute thread. How about a list of all of the reasons you are Happy to be pregnant? Here are a few of mine:

I can wear elastic waist pants without guilt. tongue.gif

I can eat fattening foods without guilt. wink.gif

I can take a nap just because I feel like it. snooze.gif

I can look like crap and tell all the women in the office that I am having a bad pregnancy day and they all understand. wacko.gif

My husband will cook, clean, let the dogs out, rub lotion on my back... just because I ask him too. I think he is really just afraid I will cry if he says no, but I don't care! rolling_smile.gif

I can cry at sappy commercials and blame it on my hormones. bawling.gif

moped replied:
All those are very good reasons, BUT I have a full time job and a 3 year old so no napping whenever I want - sure wish I could! tongue.gif

Let me think about soem more great things

lovemy2 replied: Are you in a happy place today??????

moped replied: Well yes and no to my happy place. I did get an US today and saw the baby and got soem cool pics, so that is all good...............

However, I got in a bit of trouble when Ig ot back to work for something that happened while I was gone - UGH, so now I am not happy.........just can't win!

Will post the pics soon

moped replied: Oh i just noticed that my ticker is going to change soon - LOL.........still cruising along.

I really helped to see that babay today - I really fell in love!

AND she got me at 13 weeks 6 days, so i am one day behind - all the days help right

moped replied: Well today I realized that if my due date is Dec 17 then I have less than 6 months to go......that shouldn't be a problem. It really helped to see that baby yesterday and kind of hit home a bit more. Still don't love the whole 9 (10 month) gestation period, but here we are!!!!!

My attitude might be turning around a bit!

And my ticker will change tomorrow

HAPPY THOUGHTS!

moped replied: Ahh yes the joys of pregnancy!!!! Be careful what you eat or you might be up all night long.....did I mention I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!

It is our 4th anniversary today, going out for dinner - don't need a replay of last night

moped replied: Oh and I did my hair today - second time in 3 months!!!!!!!!

luvmykids replied:
It could be worse, horses gestate for at least 11 months, sometimes longer emlaugh.gif

Oh, and if it's any consolation, I've only done my hair once this week and I don't even have a good excuse. I love a good ponytail laugh.gif

grapfruit replied:
Just wanted to add that elephants are pregnant for 22 months. ohmy.gif

And amen to the pony tail! smile.gif

gr33n3y3z replied:
or you could be a cat and preggy every I think 3 months or 6 months LOL

moped replied: Well today I need to stay out of here because I went to bed last night and forgot to take my nausea pills, so woke up feeling really crappy.

Had a lovely anniversary dinner last night with Tom - so that was fun!!!

Calimama replied:
Happy Anniversary!! Sorry I didn't see this yesterday:hug: hug.gif

grapfruit replied: Happy Anniversary!!

I hope you stop feeling crappy. hug.gif
