Steming from Holley's post - How do you hide your kids veggies?
mckayleesmom wrote: Im very lucky....my kids love vegetables...
Which is good because Im not very crafty at cooking....so that would be hard for me.
sparkys2boys replied: I do with zuchinni, I put in the spaghetti sauce..lol and they never ever know! But that is it!
gr33n3y3z replied: I never had to do that bc they ate it or at least they had to try it
luvmykids replied: Ditto

Teesa®© replied: I had a hard time with veggies. DS wouldn't eat them, he didn't like corn and he was afraid of peas ?!?!?!?
I started with soup. Both children LOVE soup... so I started buying Veggie soup. I can't stand green beans, so I told them that if I ate all my green beans, then the least they could do was eat their veggies.
Then I started mixing some veggies into things that I could. Now they'll eat the basics, and that's good enough for me.
It doesn't matter if they eat every kind of veggie, some you just can't like. And for every one that they don't like, well heck, there's 100 more to try.
gr33n3y3z replied: Thats why I love you so much Holley your honest
moped replied: Jack is starting to actually eat them now - WOW!
He will eat carrots, cucumbers, beans, corn and Broccoli
I am so happy he has turned that corner.
But now he has stopped eating potatoes!
luvmykids replied: You just made me spit coffee on my monitor
Cece00 replied: I dont hide them. My kids eat them by themselves, or know they have to at least eat X number of bites to be excused from the table.
My3LilMonkeys replied: My kids love their veggies, so we don't have to. I should buy the book so I can get DH to eat some veggies though.
MommyToAshley replied: Ashley loves her veggies, so I don't need the book. Howeve, if I am making a less nutrious dish, I usually add some veggies in. For example, I never make jsut plain mac n' cheese, I always add some broccoli in there too.
Calimama replied: She loves them. I also puree them into her food sometimes from my little cookbook so she gets double.
Nina J replied: I don't hide them, they eat them. Its like it is just an expectation, you have to eat your vegetables. It is not an option whether you have them or you do not have them in my home, lol.
Sometimes though, I add ingrediants to make them more appealing. Like, cauliflower I will put some cheese on it. Because it just makes it taste nicer, I love it more than my family does, lol. Tomato and lettuce and those kinds of things, we usually have them in naan bread with satay chicken, or in burrito wraps with chili con carne.
Teesa®© replied: When I make KD, I put in a can of creamed soup - Cream of Broccoli, Cream of Mushroom, etc. I don't put milk in it then, and I also add tuna. DD can't stand tuna, so I take out two big bowls for her and then add the tuna to the rest of it.
