MommyToAshley wrote: What is your favorite part of the day with your kids.

I love to snuggle in bed with Ashley before bedtime... we read books and then just talk about her day or whatever she wants to talk about. It's our own special time together every night.... same time, same place. wub.gif

Hillbilly Housewife replied: Hmmm definitely when they sleep. rolling_smile.gif

Nah...mornings are our fun times. We're all in our big bed, snuggled and watching cartoons together until we actually have to get up.

mckayleesmom replied: After they have their bath and are getting ready for bed.....They like to run around me in a circle and I have to try to catch them to put their clothes on.

mckayleesmom replied: I also like to just sit on the sidelines and watch them interact with each other. Especially when they are being really loving to each other. Today they were trying to scare each other by saying BOO to each other. Russell started doing his with these really funny faces and it was hillarious.

I also like to watch Mckaylee baby Russell sometimes....Like if he gets hurt..she says "oh, come here baby" and gives him a hug and trys to get him to sit on her lap.

kit_kats_mom replied: I"m not a morning person but...I really love the mornings with my cuddle bugs. K usually gets up first and she and I sit on the couch, sipping our morning cuppa's and cuddling while watching a kids show. She's so quiet in the mornings and I just rub her back and hair, smell her sweet morning kid smell and relish in the love.

Lauren wakes up a little later and good lord if she isn't just the cutest little thing in the mornings with her even messier than normal hair, her big ole' sleepy eyes and the look of total confusion (hua? Where am I???) until she sees me...then total love written all over her face. She's so happy to see me. I pick her up, she plops her head on my shoulder and buries her face in my chest. When I pass the mirror, I can see her sly little grins. rolling_smile.gif

Then we all sit in a sleepy love pile on the couch sharing kisses and hugs and some morning tv until someone (usually K) breaks the revelry by announcing that L's diaper stinks and needs to be changed then it's up to face the daily grind. rolling_smile.gif

It's really the only time the two of them will sit still for very long and let me get all the hugs and kisses I need to tide me though the day.

mummy2girls replied: Mine is the end of the day when all the kids are gone home. This is our time where she doesnt have to share her mommy wub.gif We get our pj's on after dinner and snuggle on the couch reading books and watching some tree house. Then she is wanting to go to bed so our new thing is i carry her to bed! She puts her head on my shoulder and i can hear her sigh! then she says have a good sleep momma I love you! I make my way downstairs and i think to myself thats its all worth it after her day of screaming!

mom2my2cuties replied: My favorite part of the day is right before bed - we have time like Ashley & Dee Dee...

We cuddle, watch some of a movie, talk and just love each other - Until she kicks me out telling me I need to go potty.

CantWait replied: I enjoy watching Anthony and Robbie playing together, when they're not being to noisy, or to rough with eachother. I also enjoy watching Ron interact with Anthony when he's not getting in trouble and when he's actually making an effort.

coasterqueen replied: My favorite time with both girls is when they wake up in the morning. Kylie usually comes in politely saying "good morning" as she's blinking her eyes because they don't want to focus right. happy.gif Megan usually tells me she's ready to get up by turning on her music box. I walk in there, turn on the light and she quickly hides under her covers. Then she flips them up while her hair is flying everywhere covering her face and says "Hi Daddy" rolleyes.gif with a huge grin on her face. Some day she'll call me mommy. rolleyes.gif

I have two favorite times of the day. The next would be when I get home from work. wub.gif I walk in the door and find Ryan cooking dinner, Kylie making some artwork/craft and Megan with both blankets trying to do something. As soon as Megan sees me she looks at me with this look of desperation reaching up to me with both blankets BEGGING to be nursed. happy.gif And Kylie patiently waits a few seconds til I start nursing Megan and then her lips are moving a mile a minute telling me everything about her day and the craft she was making before I walked in the door.

ZandersMama replied: wub.gif Mine lately is when Curt gets home from work the 3 of go to the hospital and see Zav, We push the rockers in the NICU close together so we are all kind of snuggleing while I hold Zav.

The other fave is when Curt leaves for work in the morning( around 6 ) and Zan climb in bed with me. I get him a cup of milk and we snuggle till around 8 dozing and watching Dora and Clifford

cameragirl21 replied: lol, Karen, Kylie is SUCH a virgo! rolling_smile.gif

redchief replied: I like any time I can get with them anymore. Everyone's so doggone busy the house should have a revolving door. Enjoy the time you get with them everyone; those times are really special to me today.

When they were little I used to love after feeding, even in the middle of the night. Lisa bf'd all the kids, but I got to be with them afterward. They were always so cuddly then, and we used to just snuggle and doze together.

coasterqueen replied:
Why, because of her gabbing? She does get that from her mother, unfortunatley. blush.gif laugh.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied: I love school right now-It is so cool to see something click in her mind and her eyes light up and she says 'Hey Momma! I know what that says!' or 'I remembered!' wub.gif It is awesome to watch her begin to grasp knowledge and figure things out that she will use for the rest of her life thumb.gif wub.gif Of course nothing beats the snuggle times on the couch or at night getting ready for bed wub.gif When she wakes up in the morning she like to be cuddled and she always says ' Good Morning Sweet Loveable Momma (if Daddy is home she includes him) How was your sleep?' wub.gif hug.gif wub.gif

mom2my2cuties replied:
Oh that is absolutely precious!!!!!!

cameragirl21 replied:
lol, no, because of the way she says "good morning" politely, waits patiently, etc, that is SOOOOO Virgo.
lol, i remember when i was a teenage babysitter, the family had three kids, the youngest of whom was a four year old virgo (female) and they didn't have a garbage can in the kitchen, they would just take plastic shopping bags and fill them up. Anyway, the kids had popsicles or something with wrappers and the parents hadn't put out any plastic bags so i just put the wrappers in a neat little pile on the kitchen counter. Well, Brenna, their four year old says, "Jennifer, you have to put those in the garbage." So I told her there isn't a garbage and that Mommy and Daddy will put it there when they get home...she kept telling me over and over again that it HAD to go into the garbage that finally i just said, "Brenna, you are SUCH a virgo!" And she looked bewildered for a moment and then said, "what does THAT mean?!"
lolol, Virgos are so prim and proper, they are so patient, they are so polite, they like everything neat and clean, they are so meticulous and punctual!
Kylie is such a virgo from what you're describing....!

mom2my2cuties replied: Man - I must be some sort of funky kind of Virgo smile.gif

cameragirl21 replied: not exactly, Tish, when you said you can't stand dirty dishes in the sink and that they lead to germs or whatever it was you said (not to sound disrespectful, i just can't remember exactly what you said dirty dishes would lead to) and that you don't have babysitters that don't keep the place clean that was pretty telling.
i'm the anti-virgo--i will let dishes pile up till i run out (not regularly but it has happened more than once) and if it weren't for the fact that clients often come to my house to sign contracts and to go over plans for a photoshoot i'd not keep the house especially clean either...my housekeeper has saved my butt at the last minute more than once. laugh.gif

coasterqueen replied:
Ok, Kylie and I are all those things BUT patient! OMG, I'd be lying if I said either one of us is patient. Dh says we have ZERO patience. laugh.gif blush.gif

She does wait patiently like I mentioned but for a few seconds. rolling_smile.gif

Everything else is so true about us though. happy.gif

cameragirl21 replied: well, Karen, i don't know that any kid is truly *patient* but just that she'd wait patiently for even a few seconds, lol, you should have seen me as a kid!
i remember when i was getting my psychology degree, in one of my developmental psychology classes we watched a movie about a study where they tested kids' patience, among other things. So the study went like this--they'd have a room with nothing in it except a table and four chairs and one of those silver bells that you press down on and it dings like at a doc's office or something to let people know you've arrived. anyway, there would be the study coordinator (a shrink usually) and a child and the shrink would put a few m&m's in front of the child and say, "ok, i'm going to leave for a few minutes and you cannot eat these m&m's...if you wait till i come back, i will give you a whole bag but if you cannot wait, ring the bell, i'll come back in and you can eat these, but you'll only get these vs the whole bag if you wait." now remember, there is nothing in the room for these kids to do to make the time pass, no toys, books, tv, nothing. so most of them made it actually, some made faces at themselves in the silver bell b/c it was mirrored and some just stared and some couldn't wait so they rang the bell.
i was in shock watching this...if it were me as a kid, i'd stuff the m&m's in my mouth before the shrink managed to open her mouth to speak and then i'd ask for more!
lol, ringing the bell and waiting for them to come in, yeah right....! rolling_smile.gif

punkeemunkee'smom replied:
wub.gif She really is the most loving little girl! wub.gif wub.gif

mom21kid2dogs replied: My favorite time of the day is after school. She is just so excited to tell me all about her day! It's too fun and some of her stories make me laugh for hours!!! laugh.gif

DillsMommy replied: In the mornings Dylan crawls in bed with me and we snuggle and then watch some t.v. I love it! I tell him "lets get under the blanket and get nice and cozy"

luvbug00 replied: Taking Mya to school. I love it. she kisses me good bye and she always give me one last wave before running into class. wub.gif

PrairieMom replied: hands down, bed time. laugh.gif The Boy is really challenging me lately. rolleyes.gif Actually I like the time when I pick him up from preschool becuase his eys light up when he sees me, and runs to give me hugs and kisses. wub.gif
