Here are a few of mine:
-a half eaten hot dog. That mean's the other half is in her tummy rolleyes.gif
-a well formed poop. Even more exciting, a well formed poop in the potty!
-a decent outfit when DH gets to dress Katherine. It's rare but it's a reason to celebrate when it happens!
-a load of laundry in which all of the kids socks emerge in pairs

When he initiates play with or shows affection for another child---parents of only children always get excited when they see social skills laugh.gif

When he remembers something from long ago that we've forgotten---that always amazes me.
