Here are a few of mine: -a half eaten hot dog. That mean's the other half is in her tummy -a well formed poop. Even more exciting, a well formed poop in the potty! -a decent outfit when DH gets to dress Katherine. It's rare but it's a reason to celebrate when it happens! -a load of laundry in which all of the kids socks emerge in pairs

JAYMESMOM replied: I love when: Daddy gets the poopy diapers,
When she learns new words
When she wakes up at night and just wants to cuddle
When she comes up and gives me a big kiss, full of drool
When she eats spagetti and ends up looking like a clown
When they finally learn to read and are so proud that they did it on their own
When they say I love you and mean what they are saying.
DansMom replied: Funny things, besides the one already stated, that we get excited about:
When he initiates play with or shows affection for another child---parents of only children always get excited when they see social skills
When he remembers something from long ago that we've forgotten---that always amazes me.
Kaitlin'smom replied: yep that one always gets us
moped replied: When a nap is longer than an hour
when I can tidy my house and feel good about it during a nap
when everyone is smiling when I get home
when he said "MOM" for the first time this weekend - I CRIED!
When I can shower and do my hair in the same hour
The list goes on and on!!!!
ediep replied: 1. when I can take a shower and get ready in the morning 2. some time at the gym 3. dinner that doesn't end up on the floor 4. going to sleep at night and not waking up until the morning (daylight)
MyBlueEyedBabies replied: Until Matt was 6 months I was excited if I could do both in the same day
kimberley replied: haha funny!
when there is a nap!
when poopies don't blast up her back
when she finally points to what she wants after she has been whining in front of the fridge for an hour
when she lets me use the washroom alone
when she says a new word
when she gives me those great big hugs and kisses
My2Beauties replied: When she can poop without grunting and crying (has been doing good for some time now)
When I come home and she is actually clean instead of filthy dirty from being at the sitter's all day
When she points at a famlily picture and points to Brian and says dada, points to me and says mama, points to Desiree and says thitthy (sissy) , and then points to her and says Nana (hanna)
When she farts and laughs about it (she learned that from me which is why I think it's so funny, yes I still chuckle when someone farts )
When most of her dinner ends up in her mouth and not all over the highchair, the floor, her face, in her hair etc...
MommyToAshley replied: 1. At least one poopy a day 2. Being able to take a shower without interruption 3. A bouquet of freshly picked dandelions 4. Being smothered with peanut butter and jelly kisses 5. The muddy hand prints on my white shirt left from the great big monster hug that about knocked me down. 6. Not knowing what the next day will bring and what silly thing my toddler will do next.
