TANNER'S MOM wrote: My house is a train wreck. I have only been sick for 2 days and it looks like a bomb has been going off. It's so bad I am disgusted. I haven't done dishes in days and if you think my lovely loveable DH lifted a finger last night WRONG! He didn't do the dishes or nothing and I am not bitter I swear. There is not a clean glass in the house b/c I can't remember which ones I have drank from so I just get a new one.. and then we are out! On Monday night I put a roast in the crock pot and that's what we had for supper and DH didn't make one thing to go with. He just gave the kids bread and sad happy eating. .Men!
I need to sleep but I can't rest cause my house is a mess..but I can't clean it b/c I have no energy!
punkeemunkee'smom replied: Stinkin' men! Get some rest girl! You sounded terrible! The house will still be a mess when you get better and you can clean then! If I was near you I would come and help you!

DVFlyer replied: Those stinkin' men....
Kaitlin'smom replied: REST worry about the house later. I dont want you to re-lapse or get worse. REST and tell that DH of yours to do the dishes!
My3LilMonkeys replied: REST is the most important thing for you right now - let them all wash their own dishes if they need some!
gr33n3y3z replied: I'm glad your feeling better Mel
Mom2BNTN replied: It still amazes me how men can live like that and have no problem doing it while it just drives us crazy! Don't worry about the house. Just take care of yourself and do the cleaning after you are feeling better.
Maddie&EthansMom replied: Oh gosh...that just makes it so much worse. Tackle one thing at a time so you don't get overwhelmed. I'm sorry. I wish I lived closer...I'd cook dinner for your family and come do your dishes. My house always goes to heck when I'm sick, too. (or when the kids are sick)
ashtonsmama replied: I'm not even SICK and my house looks like a bomb went off!
Don't stress too much...it'll get done!
kit_kats_mom replied: Mel, I hope you are feeling better soon. Ignore the house and focus on getting better.
redchief replied: Hmm... I remember when Lisa got really mad at us under similar circumstances. She "went on strike," refusing to clean up after us or anything. It took a couple more days but we eventually got the picture.
Glad you're feeling better, Mel.
MommyToAshley replied: Glad you are feeling a little better, but take it easy. Your DH and kids will get the hint when they have no clean clothes, a clean glass, or dinner on the table.
