Strange Question - How do you eat

We had grilled corn the other night Let's see...I started on the left (the smaller part) and ate it in a line then started eating it around the cob.

I normally cut it off the cob anymore but when I do it it off the cob I eat around the edge first, then left to right, then around the cob. Man that's a lot of work.

Boo&BugsMom replied: It depends. Now, you can ask hubby, but I will admit I eat things weird sometimes. He always makes fun of me when we go out to eat because I have to have everything 'just so'. Usually I will eat the first row left to right, then the next row right to left, then back and forth like that. Sometimes I will just eat it left to right. I tend to leave the tiny bits on the tip for last. I also have to drench it in butter, salt, and pepper..yummmmmmmmmmmmm!

my2monkeyboys replied: I'm pretty anal about how I eat corn, or most anything for that matter. I eat corn from right to left, 4 rows at a time, making sure to get it all with eat bite (no little bits left hanging). The last row can be up to 5 rows, and no less than 3 or I have to adjust the last sections I'm eating to make sure they fit that count (make sense how I said that?). When I'm eating something like a sandwich/burger, I eat all the way across in a perfectly straight line, then I'll start on the next "line" down, type-writer style, always from right to left. Not sure if the direction has to do with the fact that I'm left-handed or not.

Everyone kept me busy today

I eat my corn Left to right 4 rows or more starting with the big end first
then when I get to the little section I give it a turn and go back Left to Right
then I repeat the other steps again till its gone

Now our friend eats it starting at the right side and spins it around and around until he gets to the other end at the left and the corn is gone

I dont find any way is wrong with eating corn just as long as you eat it lol

I will say I didnt know one could eat corn so many diffrent ways it was fun reading ty

My3LilMonkeys replied: I am a left to right eater also. But I am the biggest corn snob you can imagine - I will only eat homegrown or from a farmer's stand that I know where it was grown. If it wasn't picked the day I'm eating it, I don't want it!
